Bose sucks. I'm not a fan of HTIB systems. They're a ggod deal up to a certain price point. Over $500-$600 your better off piecing together the components yourself, but of the ones you listed I would go with the Denon. I've been very happy with my Denon receiver.

If you need a DVD player, I'd suggest an upconverting Oppo.

Thanks

go with the denon.

if you're not a real audio freak, the inbox systems does the trick.

btw it's not that hard to run wires under the carpet or on the siding. Fry's always has good deals with the inbox systems.

I have a Bose 3-2-1 and I like it very much....Sounds great with my HD system. If you are going to buy a DVD player wait until around June they are coming out wih players that play both Blue ray and HD-DVD on the same player right now the two systems are not compatible.

Thanks for the feedback!

I've been checking out Fry's and Best Buy... boy, they hate each other!! HA!

I also hear the Bose at Best Buy... sounds real good on the floor.. but why there are so many bad reviews on them...? I was not haapy with the Bose in our Z....

thought about running the wires.. my room configuration is just a lil comlicated to do so...

I think it's between the Denon and the Bose....

bose isn't a bad setup, it's actually a good deal when you can find it on sale, which is rare. speaking of which, you should see a few sales on bose systems cause they always try to get rid of this years model in anticipation of the newer ones.

The biggest difference between the systems is the clarity in the mid range. If you can't tell under normal circumstances then it wouldn't matter what system you get. People hate on Bose just like how ricers hate on the Z. (hope that makes sense). Anyhow the Bose doesn't produce the mid's quite as good and the bass seems to sound a bit "manufactured"...

either case, can't lose with either system, just go with the cheaper one.

where can u find Bose on sale? I just heard the Bose series 3 setup... wow.. but also looked at the price tag... WOW!

The Bose series 2 cannot compare with the series 3... leaning toward the series 3 if i can find it at a reasonable price...

the reason most stereo enthusiasts don't like like bose is that they distort the true music to make it "sound better"

it is the same as you singging in the shower, YOU know you suck, but in the shower you could be on American Idol right? It's an illusion, they use alot of tube and ports to achive it.
