well i have the vortech kit sitting in my room deciding if its going on the Z,but have a few ?'s for you engine gurus.Im thinking of installing the kit without the FMU system and addressing the timing with the TS reflash and bigger injectors (P.E).Has anyone done this to date?with the vortech kit only not ATI.I want to install the kit with no plans of upping the boost just 8 PSI and leave it alone.Considering I have a A/T will my stock engine be OK
with the boost being at 8 PSI,1 step colder plugs,TS reflash,PE injectors.
Any info would be appreciated, if there is something else you think i would need please let me know.

If you dont plan on upping the boost . I would just do the install as it comes in the box . Unless you got a tuner kit....with out the FMU and SS box .
