me and a couple friends rented one of those fender rolling tools and that **** works wonders. its well worth the money if you get everyone to pitch in. just make sure you have a strong enough heat gun so the paint doesn't crack.

Yeah renting when you have a few people sure makes it cheap!

I still think cutting is the best way to go though. How flat did you get the flange?

In my experience, most roll jobs just result in the lip being shaped into a V instead of the stock L shape flange. If you cut it, no flange at all thus better clearance

Just make sure them tire dont rub

my fenders are more folded than rolled. they're almost perfectly flat. it just feels more sturdy and i dont have to worry about tires getting cut up by a cut fender.

The cut tire was my same concern with fender cutting versus rolling. Can you show pics of closeups of your fender rolling job? I have direct access to a fender rolling tool at my disposal, but I've been hesitant to do it on my Z. I've rolled fenders on my previous Volkswagen with stretched tires and such, but for some reason I'm just a lot more freaked out doing it on the Z.
