Pre-HIN Bay Area Meet 04/05/03
Hi all,
Seems like a bunch of us are going to be going to the HIN in San Mateo this up coming Friday night. We can do a small meet so we can all drive in together?
Anyways, here is what I propose:
Pre-HIN Meet @ Hillsdale shopping mall parking lot infront of Macy
Time: 7:30PM
Location:
Hillsdale Shopping Center
Macy's parking lot
Sixty 31st Avenue
San Mateo, CA 94403
Map
Leaving for HIN at 8:00pm
For those that can't make the meet or are entering in the show, let's all meet up inside HIN at 9:00pm near the front entrance.

I'll probably get my fill in about 1-2 hours as well.
I'm actually not sure if I can make it- have to talk to the boss and see if she made committments for me this weekend or not. I'll let you guys know.

is it really that bad? Now you got me worried...
Anyways, for some reason, I keep on thinking that the 5th was Friday night instead of Saturday night. I set the 7:30pm for those of us that don't get out of work too early...
Anyways, does anyone want to go earlier then? Say meet at 5 ath the parking lot? then get there around 5:30... Maybe an afternoon drive before it? Hopefully, we can get better parking space and the "haters" haven't arive in masses yet?

I work in San Mateo on 17th Avenue - a 5 minute drive from Hillsdale. I get off at 4:30, so I have a choice of staying in SM or driving home, then driving back to SM. Depending on the time we are meeting, I will have to make a decision.

Hi All,
I tried to edit the original post but didn't seen like I was able to. Anyways, I decided to bump the time up so everyone can do something else afterwards if they want. For those south bay people that might want to do a drive before hand, I'll look into the route and earlier meeting time. I'm thinking of going up hwy 9 to 35 to 1 then circle back on 280 or 101 back to San Mateo. I'll post some maps once I figure it out.

It was nice meeting you guys today. Pasha, Failsaf3 and Moodie. Well, I'll try to post more drives and meets in the future. Hopefully we can get more people to show up next time. Anyways, I didn't get a chance to snap off too many pictures. If you guys need me to host them somewhere, I can stick it on my web account or you guys can try to post it on the yahoo THC group. I'll get my picture up tomorrow.
