A PT... Was it boosted? What did they do to the clutch? What was wrong with it before (besides the click or pop)?

not even boosted, and I was doging the hell out of it..lol. They replaced the slave cyclinder and there was no problem but the reason why it went under a recall was that a lot of people where having there clutch pedal stick to the ground.

Oh wow, that's not good. Is there a clutch burning smell when this happens? Sometimes (every now and then), my clutch sinks when I heel toe at a high RPM (above 5000). Maybe its just me...

Its all good man. Think of it as sign. HIN is fun sometimes, I'm just not too excited about some of people that go. You know the chosen few that talk crap about cars yet they drive a Geo Prizm!!!

Those pics remind me of our GM garage DIY days, one guy working, 5 other guys standing around and telling that one guy how he do it wrong, only thing missing was beers in your hand. , speaking of which, we have another DIY day this Sunday...Yaay more drinking.

HAHA we had plenty of drinks but we really got the job done, actaully had 5 people who knew what they were doing who helped with the removal.

I thought about the GM garage thread too but this is on another scale haha

The egg not only chipped the paint but it stained the door....can you believe the bill was for only 289 for paint and the rest for labor insurance lady said that is how they work these days.

Hey I helped with removing and carrying your hood There were so many hands in the engine compartment there wasn't any room for more, but yeah...those guys knew your ride and what to do. Your friend under your car was funny.

Hope the paint job goes well and is A+++ when done.

I hope you get her back like new. Also, what shop will be doing the work? I need to get something painted.

Does anyone have an impact wrench I can borrow for a few hours tomorrow? Ill even pay for the rental... I know, I should just buy one but, I have one and I just cant find it... Its probably underneath all the stuff I have in storage...

Let me know people... If not Ill just have to do an early tool run tomorrow... I want to have the parts in by noon ...

^You didn't order me a set ...
I'm probably going to run a close second with you on those. My front pillow ***** are starting to rattle more and more to the point of being annoying.
Hmm...same darker blue like the Zero1 rear mounts we have. They look nice, I likey.

Sorry Ritz...No impact gun.

Crap!!! Its 920 and I still don't have a gun. Looks like I'll have to do a tool run.

John, when you decide on getting them let me know. I have the part numbers saved. I had to pay extra for faster shipping - it is worth it. I got them in 8 days after placing my order. Now that is fast considering they were not in stock and special order.

Well, I'm off to Harbor Freight to pick up a new impact gun. Sure I'll pick up more than the gun !!!
