i was speechless that he said since i didnt ask them to prep & sand, they didnt do it. since i only asked them to paint & mount, thats exactly what they did.

 

Yes.... take the Sheriff there and take your car back. He can't hold it. He will sue you for the money, but he can't hold your car.

i just found out my leather seat (driver) is scratched pretty bad. not bad enough to cut through but very noticable, probably about 8 lines...
whoever sat in the seat to move my car, had a knife or something sharp in their pocket...

If the job was not satisfactory then stop payment on the check, Visa, MC, Amex. However, if you paid cash your hosed. I never ever pay cash just in case of these types of incidents. I always use the Amexp. because I can always deny the charges if I'm not happy with the quality.

 

yep same here. i never pay cash unless i really know the shop or its such a small job.

yea im fighting them right now w/ my visa card. it takes up to 60 days to go back and forth.

i have 10 pages worth of pictures and full statement for the bank.

wow i feel bad for ya bro. i know i was excited and relieved when i got my car back from the shop looking good, but i couldnt imagine what i would do if it came back all sh**ty. but good luck getting that resolved.
