You missed the second part of the drive- complete with mudslinging action- no BS, right at the end of the run this guy is out front of his property doing some work- we fly by him and as we do he starts flinging handfulls of mud- missed all of us except Brandon.

Looks like it was a great event. Interesting that none of the 7 or so Z's had front plates. I hope the cops keep looking the other way - Cuz' my plate is in the trunk.

I haven't recieved my plates either (03 delivery.) DMV can be real slow some times, funny story my friend bought an 99 Audi A4 1.8TQMS and he still hasn't received his plates Even funnier that he traded that in for a 02 Audi A4 1.8TQMS and wouldn't you figure that the DMV's slow sending out his plates for that car as well, double .

Deluded- When what was the exact date you took delivery of your car? I picked mine up on 3/25 and was starting to get worried since I hadn't received my plates. Everyone else said they got thiers in 2-3 weeks.

failsaf3, I picked mine up 03/13. So it's been quite a while. I'm starting to wonder if my paperwork into the DMV was sent in correctly by the dealer...

Didn't you get yours at Stanfurd Nissan as well?

Deluded- Yes Stanford on 3/25. At least I'm no the only one. Either Stanford is slow on their paperwork or the DMV is slow. My guess is the latter or a combination of both.

Yea, I thought the guys had some serious huevos throwing mud at four cars. We should have stopped and at least confronted him- however we passed a couple of sherriffs a few miles before and were worried that he may have reported us. So we did the smart thing and got on 580.
BTW- we were driving no faster than the posted speed limit. Going faster would be violating the California Vehicle Code

Nope, looking good. I saw some scratches in the front window right where the mud hit, but maybe it was from a rock. We'll never know...
