I'd be willing to help out with this. I have set up several meets before (not that big) as well as a car show. I think if there were 3 or 4 of us that were dedicated to getting this running that it could be planned.

What would people think of September 29th? Looking at the weather almanac the weather that day has been clear and around 65 degrees. A little chilly but tolerable. and that date gives enough time to plan and advertise. I think it would be a great idea to just do a bbq and just have the whole meet in one spot. Who else would be down the help?

After the previous ones, I learned you just have to pick the best date possible and just run with it especially since Sept. is around the corner. It's going to be extremely hard to keep everyone happy.

Cool

How about taking a quick Poll?

Last year the weather was just okay. It did drizzle a little bit with overcast in Foster City. At Treasure Island it was cold and windy, but I guess that's normal up there.

October is usually "indian summer" for the SF bay? I think that planning a big meet like this may need some more time. September is just less than 3 weeks away. Unless, there isn't going to be any drawings/ raffles etc... and all cars just meet up at T.I. and everyone does their own thing for lunch.

I would volunteer to help, but I'm a little far away from you guys. We're just finalizing everything on our run Sept 15th Pebble Beach.

ya i dont think that the raffles are important. i think if we have a date and a spot to go too, everyone would be down to go. the people can also either bring their own bbq or food. that would be the easiest way to set this up.

well we can look at the first weekend in October. will be a little colder but not rainy yet. It might not be as big as the last TI meets but it always has to start somewhere. Lets say tenitively October 6th. that gives us 2 months to arrange, advertise, and set up. Anyone willing to help?

:sorry: about that ! What I was trying to say --"T.I. Meet & BBQ" would need to be Reserved so that you can cook +++ and tape of the space you need . ie... the entire parking lot --The area for the Z'z & The other area for the G's plus parking for the other non Z or G cars that come -About 50 - 75 of them.

2TWO Years ago we had 97-350Z'z & 76 others. ToT - 173 car at a 350z Meet-(Old record was Tyson' Corner Va. 92 -350Z'z & 80 others --TOT -172)

This Meet (09/29/07) should be AFTER that record (SEE "THE LIST") & set a record for the G's ie... 104 G's , 106 Z'z + 80 other cars

ie...

350Z's ................ Car ...........#4 Lunch ...............Area
1)ZZZZZZZZ........Annv'y................2.................Co ncord
2)
3)
.....
106)

Z'z ................ Car ...........#4 Lunch ...............Area
1)zzzzzzzzz........300tt...............1..................Sa nta Rosa
2)

G's ................ Car ...........#4 Lunch ...............Area
1)ggggggg.........G37S..............3..................San Jose
2)
....
104)

Others ................ Car ...........#4 Lunch ...............Area
1) 4MYZ350...........Sky ...............2...................San Ramon
........................car color
86)

290 cars at lets say an avg. of $20 per car = $5,800

.

aaahh gotcha. I believe all you need to get is a permit to cook onsite, and that might not even be necessary in that TI might be a state or local park... id have to do some more research

They told me that T.I. is RULED by S.F.'s

"You Must get the permit to tape off your area" ----I was taping off at 6AM --before Chris's S.F run, at 6:30 on RR/TI day two years ago.

I'm putting my Z up for sale so I might not have it much longer. But if I do still have it by the time this meet gets setup I'm definitely down to roll out.

What's up. Why are you selling? I'll have my old school 96 NSX by this time.
