Default Sacramento Raceway 8/15

Wassup everyone! Me and a couple of friends are planning on going to Sac Raceway (Dragstrip) so we can just meet up and run our cars. I also got a few guys from G35Driver.com to come along as well. So if any of you guys could come out that would be great! It's going to be on August 15, which is a wednesday and were planning getting there at 4 since thats when the gate opens and then racing starts at 5 PM Check out http://www.sacramentoraceway.com/ for more info.

Just curious which track gives better times, Infineon or Sac? I've heard mix reviews from people, but alot of people i've talked to say that they get better times at Sac. Weird because i would assume that Infineon is alot cooler than Sac.

Haven't been out to Infineon to compare, but if its cooler there and it should be better, but it also depends on the elevation.

The temps are hit or miss at Sears; but it's usually really hot there as well until the sun goes down. Overall, Sac is typically the "faster" track. Sears is slightly up hill, and there is always a strong head-wind.

I've been to Sears point twice and both times there it was really hot. My best was a 14.3 at 99.8mph, this is when i was stock, and i also don't know how to launch I want to go to sac, i'll try to get that day off of work.

Got there while it was hot as hell! Overall didn't do all that good, wasn't gripping like i shouldv'e . A lot of ****ty 60 Foots but best run was a 14.005 @102 with the mods in my sig even though i went earlier this year (March) and ran a 13.9@100 stock. We'll see what happens when it gets cooler
