Yeah that's the problem with the alternator/battery combo. If your battery is going bad (age or whatever) and you don't catch it soon enough, it causes premature wear on the alternator and you can lose that as well. It works just the opposite as well. If your alternator is going (age or degraded by a previously bad battery) then it can cause your battery to go as well because it's not able to keep the battery charged properly.

 

Lol, literally up the road. Moving from my apt. at I-5/Del Paso to just up the road toward Elkhorn. Renting a friend's GF's house. He moved to Texas for a job and she decided to follow him. So my GF and I are moving in together and renting the place. Not bad, 1500 a month for 2100 sq. ft. 2 story, water/sewer/garbage/gardener included. My rent was going to go up on my apt. when my lease ended in May and I'd have been paying 1143 for a 1 bed + den 1000 sq. ft. apt.

Well that's pretty bad ***. At least you're moving into a house which is obviously on the ground level and has a garage, so I'd imagine teh sucky part about the rain would be getting everything from the apartment into the Uhaul. Then from there you can go from the Uhaul to the garage of the new place rather easy without getting soaked?
