sup guys, not exactly in sac but close....
Anyone have a fender roller? I searched the site and this is the most logical thread i could think to ask in.
New owner ( for 6 months ) and just got some 2.2.2 +12`s so i need to role and pull. I plan on lowering soon so i`d rather just get it done now and then get a spacer if needed later.
Thanks

One of my boys has the new V3 PBM roller, he is over in rosemont area though so you would have to come here. Gota ask him to see if its cool but im sure it is if you shoot him a few bucks or a 12 pack or something...

I have a heatgun too if you dont have one.

No offense, but doing that is super risky and not worth doing that to my Z ino. Tried that with my 240sx `back when i had it` and it works ~OK~ and only if you do a little. Go to much and POP. Big a** fold in your corner panel.

That would be cool, but that`d cost me about 40-50 in gas itself...Dam. Thanks though.
Would be rent it out to me with the heat gun?

I`ll have to think about it. Maybe if i`m going in the area some time or a small meet at some point....

i've seen a million retarded pulls on z's and have yet to see a folded/dimpled qp.

a lot of heat and patience will make it look good. and on that z a roll is probably really all you'll need to fit those wheels.

a million z`s with roll/pull from a bat and it worked? Highly doubt its quality then, unless your talking about doing the right way and doing it with the heat gun and roller....

the way the qp is on Z's for some reason just isnt conducive to folding or dimpling really...not saying it isnt possible though...

To be honest using a bat or a phone book is technically almost the same thing as using a roller if you take your time and USE ALOT OF HEAT (like max said). Dont knock it before you try it.

In reality if you dont know how to use a roller you could probably so MORE damage to the car than using any other method...

I think the only real benefit to using a roller is the fact that its less time consuming if you know what your doing.

I rolled the fenders on my 510 with a head gun and a fuggin sledge hammer and it came out fine.

We used a westwood roller on my friends evo8 and his QP got dimpled on both sides...go figure...it really depends on the car and how its designed the Z isnt proned to getting that kinda damage from a roll or pull..

Ya, I`ll probably just hammer it out `for the roll` and if i need/want a pull, ill probably use a roller. I`m sure i wont need a pull till i get some spacers 5 or 10. we`ll see
