Jim got it to me. The finish wasn't the greatest since it had defective weaving on it. When i looked at it, weaving was perfectly fine, just the finish was kind of dull. But doing some custom work, so not even worried about it.

I 2nd that, keep it CF! LOL jk vince likes one toned I think, plus 2 tone attracts cops, but its not like I would have any experience with two toning...
Looks like Vince picked up the Asuka hood from a local. I'd say just to clear it. It's dull like that so that if you painted you wouldn't need to sand. If the defect in the weave doesn't both you, just clear it and call it good.

The defect doesn't even bother at all. Just don't like to be too flashy while exposing a bit of cf near the window area. And yes, i like the one tone look because it looks cleaner IMO. Also, just got my Nismo fender flares in. It should be done at the same time as the hatch. Can't wait...
