Clear Bra and Touch-up?
Hey everyone:
I just bought my SMB 07 Touring about 2 weeks ago, and I already have a couple rock chips on my front bumper (and a very small one on the hood). Between the asteriod field that we call the 101 and Nissan's notorious paint quality, my car just didn't stand a chance.
That said, anyone know of a good place to get a clear bra and touch up painting in the Peninsula? Have any idea of how much it would cost?

Go to Premier if you want the best. They can do entire cars if you don't want seams, although it's probably overkill. www.premiermobilegroup.com

Thanks you guys! Does anyone know of a good place for touch-ups? I just figured that it didn't make sense to clear bra-ing the rockchips on the car.

If you insist on touch-up painting the rock chips, I would check out the Autopia detailing forums (autopia.org) and doing it yourself. They're the biggest detailing forum out there. See what people say on how they do touch-ups. It won't look like the original paint, but it will look good from far away at least. Metallic paints (like on the Z) will be very hard to look like original paint because of the "sparkly flakes". It will probably look dull, but if you clearbra on top of it, it might be hard to notice (unless you have a ton of rock chips). After you use touch-up paint, people normally let it sit overnight and polish on top of it to smooth out the surface.
