Default I am so sick and tired of Capitol Nissan

Is there any other dealership near south San Jose that will actually do a good job on a service?

Every time I go to that place, I come back unhappy. This time, I made an appointment to drop my car off at 10:30am. After 15 minutes of waiting (with no other cars there), I get seated in a service advisors office. He then goes and wanders around for 10 minutes before coming back to help me. He then tells me that I need to do a coolant flush for my car, which I KNOW I did 6000 miles or so ago. He tells me that I'm wrong, but I insist that I don't want it anyway. I come home to check my old paperwork, and lo and behold...a coolant flush was performed 2 services ago.

Everytime I go there I feel cheated and lied to, like they're trying to take advantage of me. I need to find a new dealership. Help.

I recommend Daland Nissan in Millbrae as another alternate. Always had great service.

Which service rep are you working with? I can't bother to stand near that chick that smells like an ashtray. Our Titan is there now for ECM reprogram...

I always go to stevens creek nissan. I think there owned by the same people as Capitol but I've always had great luck with them. I had the easiest car buying experience ever there. The people are nice and they just finished building their fancy new dealership.

Wow, this place is a JOKE. I just got my car back from them, and I had asked them to reset the 'service needed' alert on my navigation unit, since they had forgotten to do it the last time I took it in..and THEY DIDN'T DO IT AGAIN..

On my printout sheet, it also said that I only have 4/32 and 5/32 tread remaining on my tires, and that I'd need to buy new tires "in the near future." I don't understand how that is possible, considering the fact that I just spent $1,200 on new tires less than 3 weeks ago.

I am never going back, but I will be calling someone who's higher up than the service manager to complain. I have NEVER had a good experience with these idiots.

They were cool with me. I had just put my GTS's on the day before and it kicked on the TPS light. The new wheels had a set of senors on them already but the car wasnt reading them. So I took my car for an oil change and the guy noticed the light was on. He reset it to read the new senors at no cost. Well the main service guy was going to charge me 80 bucks which I declined but the guy who was actually working on my car hooked me up.

Your experience is normal for them.

Capitol Nissan is on my way home from work in the most convenient location and I will NEVER go there again. I have never had a good experience there. Not even when trying to buy something as simple as a Nismo hat.

+1 - I've been there twice. Once for my Pathfinder. Once for my Z. The dealership is under the new ownership in the past year and seems to have their act together. They have been really polite and fixed my problems without issue.

For me Dublin Nissan has been a real headache the two times I've gone there for service. Overcharged one time. Charge me for work not done on another. So now, I drive a little to get to Fremont for my service.

I could tell you stories about buying touch up paint. Lol.... ordered... long drive to pick up .... Sorry, not really in after they called me to pick it up.... three times. Doh. I mean three weeks to get touch up paint. Thought it was just a thing. Don't know why I did that. I think it was because I was there picking up another part and just thought .... well, while I'm here I'll just ...... Lol !!!!
