I freaking hate DHL
Just want to vent on a Friday afternoon. I ordered an exhaust on Monday from a vendor here. They are also in Calif. so I should have the exhaust on Wed.
Well, Wed. came and I wasn't home for the delivery. The delivery didn't require a signature, so I expected them to just leave it by the door. They didn't. I was not upset at this point because some times, they don't leave packages like tires and rims because they might be stolen.
On the delivery notice, it was checked that the redelivery would be the next day, which is Thursday. So I took a day off waiting at home for the damn delivery...no one showed up.
Now I am a little pissed because I wasted a day just sitting around. So this morning, I called the DHL office and asked about my delivery. The woman on the phone said that they didn't know why it wasn't delivered, but it will be delivered today at around 5pm. So I said that's fine, I will be home at that time. Then 2 hours later, I have nothing better to do so I went to DHL's site and put in my tracking number to see where the heck my package is...holy smokes, good thing I did because the website says the package is back in the DHL warehouse.
So again I called DHL's number and now I another woman said the package is definitely at the warehouse. So I said I will just go and pick it up today before they close.
I've never had to deal with this kind of crap with UPS or USPS. Redelivery can't/shouldn't be this hard.
Vent over. I just hope I can still make it to my shop to have it installed today.
