I just got an email about special invite for the preview of the new Nissan GTR from another Z.O.N.C. member.

"ZONC has received a special invitation from Nissan to attend a preview
showing of the GT-R at the San Francisco International Auto Show at
the Moscone Center. November 28, 2007 This will be only the third
time that the car has been shown worldwide. ZONC will meet at the
Nissan display at 4:30 p.m. The GT-R will be unveiled around 5:30
p.m."
Nissan is restricting promotion of this event and there will be no
advance advertising of it.

Not sure if you need to be a ZONC member to attend this special event.

 

Am I a ZONC member? How do I find out. I'd love to join in.

 

I just sent you a P.M. on the details for RSVP. Can't wait to check the GTR out and sit in one.

Yeah I CAN NOT WAIT to sit in the GT-R. Is sitting going to be allowed to the general public during regular show hours? Or just the ZONC crowd?

Also, rgtop, are we meeting a group of people there?? Can I bring two people with me (gf and brother)?

I just rec'd a email from the coordinator from ZONC. I sounds like this event is exclusively for ZONC members.

Here is what was emailed to me:

I'm not coordinating this event, I was just giving others a heads up for all that's interested.

I think that the GTR will be available for public viewing on Friday.

 

hey can I get some info on this too! Ive been here since the beginning and I didnt here about this at all!

BTW, lets get a meet going for the SF show, we can all meet up at the Metreon for some food an a few drinks before and heads over!

 

Wait...so that means the GTR won't be at the autoshow until the 28th? I was thinking of going to the show this Friday. This is terrible news if so.

 

You might double check at SF auto show. That's what I understood based on my email I rec'd from ZONC. It's not suppose to be on display to the public until the following Friday Dec 2nd. ZONC members get a special preview before everyone else.

I could be wrong tho.

BTW: I heard at the L.A. Auto Show, Nissan was giving out free NISMO and GTR posters that the preview.
