Default paying the fine for a fix it ticket=point on record?

i recently got a fix it ticket for window tint and on my notice in the mail, it says that i have the option to just pay the fine. i want to just pay the fine and keep my tint. would just paying the fine result with point on my driving record?

tint tickets shouldnt be any points...so my sis says(shes a cop) u can just pay it and "hope" u dont get another or have it removed....if the cops in ur area arent bad on tint...i would keep it in my opinion...
