i think the going to neighbors idea is the best...if you get organized, that would be better than facing them alone...

my oher vote would be to get Kiet drunk and send him into their house at 10 am to throw up :P

The Mythbusters couldn't do it but maybe you can find the 'brown noise"...

If you find it, don't play it when you're home.

take the door off your microwave oven, aim it at the house, plug it in. At least they won't have kids and maybe mutant giant ants will rise up and kill them.

if you report them as they are doing drugs... the cops will be there ASAP.

do this on an anonymouse pay phone.

or you can purchase a leaf blower and start that thing every morningand b4 work just place it towards the house and let it run till it runs out of gas. make sure you chain it to something so no one steals it.

+1 on the civil lawsuite against the landlord. Should be a local ordinance or code regarding noise / disturbances. If nothing else, get a consultation with a lawyer to find out your options. Before taking any action, get as much information about them as you can. License plate numbers, etc, so if they do retaliate you are ready.

Even if you dont go through with it, it will push the owners into realizing you are serious.

Getting served with papers from the local sheriff is scary.

It has nothing to do with me being old, it has to do with bad timing. They are partying right now, I can hear them just the same, I just dont care because it is the middle of the afternoon. At 2:00am they are inconsiderate f*cks.

Anyone know a good lawyer for this kind of thing?

Chris,
Call the police each time. After a few repeated call of several nights, they'll actually show up. They did here and we even watched them go into the house.
No noise from the right side of the house anymore. It works.

local ordinance or code regarding noise / disturbances- In Newport Beach my neighbor used it by having to police lesson for themselves all most every night
Finally the police decided on New Years Eve. that we met the noise db's and I got called in Nor. Cal. From the cops to be Quieter.

Anyhow you have the same RIGHT --Go see the Police Captain for your area.

There is a group called "PrePaid Legal" call and I'll put you in touch it cost Like $29.00 to get a letter sent to A) owner B) police & C) the neighbor each different.

O/S -- Did You get my PM on the Lombard St./ SF tour Brochure. It's this Sun.

Hi Chris,
there is a radio talk show 810AM every sat. and sun. 4pm-7pm would be really helpful. I think the show is called "Call a lawyer" this legal adviser will answer your questions. People often call in about cases similar to yours and this guy will listen to your story and tell you if you have a case or not and he will tell you what legal actions you can take next who to talk to. Try it, it is free, good luck!

While I normally do not get excited about the misfortunes of others...
The renters moved out today.
I was talking to my cross the street neighbor this afternoon and found out that the owners of the house got in over their heads in silver creek and could no longer afford both, so they will be moving back in next door. I never had issues with them being noisy at unreasonable hours so things are looking up.
