lol no this is a ZONC meet i just put the word out for the 350z crowd but the day of this meet is the day i have to drive up to seattle for their big nissan meet

 

so after i talked to every one that was planning on going they all flaked so me and nikki decided not to go and we will be at the Z social in vacaville

its sad that our massive community of Zs can turn out what 5 people at most meets yet my friend's scion meet with funk *** XboXes shows up with 20+cars

i was starting to think that it was because we were not giving enough time before the meet.

but the last one was posted over a month in advance but i think 10 350z's showed up. compared to the 25 300zx. but i dunno why no one comes everyone seems to what to when it is posted. then when it comes down to it they dont show up

 

 

i try to make all the meets i can.
i like to meet people who are into the same things i am so car meets are a good place to start.

Are there going to be any more meet and eat going to be planned besides the Vacaville one? I was wondering because I know a 2 pubs ( one downtown and in Folsom= Streets of London) that would make a good meet. Nothing big but a the place has great food, atmosphere and great bar. I am just throwing out Ideas maybe for the Summer.

The Folsom location has a decent parking lot and the down town one is..well it's pretty hard sometimes to find parking.

 

I was just thinkin that the other day ... this board isn't nearly as active as some of the other boards i've encountered. that amazes me because I would wager the percentage of Z owners in this community far out weights those of other sports car models.

The Z is the best selling sports car in the history of sports or cars.

My 2 cents: part of it may be the lackluster design of this forum. It lumps all of NorCal together instead of giving the bay area and sacramento it's own subforums. IMO a sacramento subforum would promote more of a sense of community. NorCal is a big place and this design is pretty generic.

 

well the last 2 i have posted were set up by Zonc. i have no problem setting up an event at a resturaunt/bar but keep in mind the people that are not 21 or the people with significant others that are under 21.

i have set up meets at places like
applebees
chillis
hooters
fridays

just trying to keep in mind the familys of the members here. and i wouldnt drive the Z after drinking at a bar

but i know spring and summer there will be bigger meets and more often

 

well i used to run a meet and website that happened every tuesday at in and out burger in Rancho Cordova. We got so big that the cops started to show every tuesday to break us up. but i think a meet every once and a while there we'd be fine. there is plenty of room and we can have a decent size meet and also eat. Plus there is plenty of light Below is a pic of one of our weekly meets... as you can see it got big

 

That In-n-Out is a popular spot for meets. I've seen WRX and Evo meets over there before too.

I thought the In-n-Out/Starbucks/Jamba Juice in Natomas Marketplace was a good spot for meets too. I was goin on there for meets when I owned a different car.

 

i personaly like that place better (and i live right across the street from the rancho in-n-out) just cuz there is a variaty of places to grab some food

 

well with the spot in Rancho is more of a middle ground. Well when i was running meets that was the case. as far as Z owners id say get more of a consensus as to where everyone is located within Sacramento to see where the best spot would be.

 

i wont mind going to to the one right by my house.
so whay dont we all state where we are from and we can go from there

 

Off topic but Sac raceway has Import drags on the March 9 anyone going? I might go.
