yeah thats how it has been all the big meets ie: Z socials, there are never any Z33's there. i try to attend all the meets i can.
i like to see how things progress on peoples cars, and meet new people.
but it seems like when i post a meet i will get 10+ guys willing to go and maybe 3 show up.
the last meet at arden mall was the most i have seen show up. 8 i think.

i try to give at least a months notice on the big meets so if people want to go they have enough notice. to make plans take time off.

like freakmont there are 4 Z33's registered including me, and this is our biggest meet of the year we are looking at trying to get 100 cars this year. i know a guy with a sentra that is coming from Arizona, but we cant 10 350z there? I know Andrew(Kuruma-san) will let me know if he gets the day off. but that is still only 5.

i can drive down sunrise any given night and see 10+ evos or s2k or stis in a parking lot.

 

Any one going to the BMW meet we got invited too?, along w/G35 drivers...it is in Natomas April 12.

It is pretty sad about the turn outs of Z33's...I feel pretty bad I have not made it to any of the runs...and I missed Godzilla @ Sac raceway!

 

Yeah I see tons of Z33's when I drive to School..heck there are 3 in the parking lot right now.

 

I used to run a meet every tuesday night last summer and we used to have a HUGE turnout but it was always hard to get the Z's to show. I think the most that I was able to get to show was 5. I think it's a matter of peer presure. if you say on the forums you're going to be there then be there. If not you're going to get flamed as a (for all you sales guys out there) piker! I never tell people im going to be there unless i know for sure im gonna be there. that is rude and inconsiderate. People plan this things and have taken time out of there time that they could be at work, with their kids, working on their car, masterbating...whatever. Im not going to point anybody out but there are folks that are speaking about this now that say they will show to events and not show.

Also its making us 350Z people look like snobs, honestly. Just reading the post that M1r4cL3 made... right there if I was another car enthusiast my thoughts would be.... "man Z guys are asses. do they think they are better than us?"

It is really sad. I have had a really great time at all the meets I have attended and unfortunately it snows like crazy where I live so I've been out of the game for awhile, but I'll be back strong this summer! Point is I think the weather has had a big effect on it. Lets turn it around this summer cause us Z33 guys are not squares all of you that I've met have ruled!!! Plus I cant wait to show the dudes that have seen my car the improvements that will have been made by next week!!!!!

 

i agree 10000000000% i have heard that from a lot of people that are at car meets. "the Z guys will only come if its an all Z meet." i hear that all the time. or "the Z guys only want to be around Z's" wtf why didnt i get that notice? cuz i like a lot of cars and what other people do to them

ok if you say you will go this week and next week the day before the meet it snows, thats a good reason not to go. but when you live in sac and dont go but said you will is kinda wrong, some of the z socials we throw we will reserve a table or a parking lot and that cost us depending on how many people say they will be there. take Freakmont we have to have insurance for that, thats why we want people to register if they will go.

i used to get around 20 sentras when i had one, on a weeks notice and now i can barly get 7 Z's with a month + notice. i see at least 1 or 2 Z's a day so i know they are out there.
