Default No front Licence Plate Citation Ticket

I parked my car at Chinatown and went to Broadway to get some drinks at Saturday night. Got two tickets one is street cleaning $40 and other is no front licence plate $100 . How come $100 for no front licence???? I thought it's a fix ticket and I just have to put the plate back and find a police to write it off. Do u guys think I should fight for it or just pay the ticket

^ How? Since they already gave me a ticket for $100. How can I get this reduce to a fix ticket and pay only $10?

you might be reading it as if it doesn't get fixed then it will be 100 dollars for non compliance.

Trust me I got them all the time. its like $10 or $15 for a court processing fee

This is correct. It is $100 if you dont fix it and want to pay a fine.
(For lazy people)

Just zip tie / double side tape it on and just get it signed off.
One time i double side taped a license plate holder to a plate then double side taped it the the middle of the bumper. looked legit and it got signed off without a second glance.
look at your ticket. it should have it listed as a correctable infraction

Looks like the city needs revenue. I've gotten pulled over about 3 times in the past 10 years...never got a fix it for no front plate..

But yeah, it should be just a fix it.

First time at Horison (498 Boardway). Nice place with a lot hot asian chicks. I hoped I wasn't that drunk so I can enjoy dancing.

I read the back and yes. Just $10 and signed off. Now I pay $50 instead of $140 . Thanks

Last week, I got pulled over by CHP outside of San Bruno for no plate in the front. I went and bought the Zee Bracket and used the OEM plate holder to mount my plate off to the side (driver's side) so as not to block airflow to the power-steering radiator. Took a few hours to modify the Zee Bracket and to try and think of how to mount it, but it turned out pretty clean IMHO.

I'll post pics in a few.

^^ better without the front plate IMO. Just take it off after got signed off.

I bought the V1 bumper from FairLadyz916 (he said he got it used from Elohite) and he cover the plate screw holes with black paint. I have no way to mount it with Zee Bracket. So i will try my luck and double side tape the plate.

it is really at the discrestion of the officer honestly. I mean there are so many violations that are out there that never get inforced (e.g. having a GPS or anything attached to the winshield, slightly tinted driver/passenger windows in california). Its just a matter of if they are looking for something to pull you over. As far as the ticketing agency, such as parking enforcment "meter maids" they will just ticket because its within their job description. All of those vehicles you listed would be breaking the law, technically. The terms "driving while asian, black, mexican etc" is usually the reason you/we are getting the tickets for no front plate.
