Are you going to be able to make it? I doubt I'll hit my sub-11 tomorrow since I'll only get one shot at it. That'll have to wait for a slow day at Sac when the boss isn't around (no sidebar still).
Walt - don't forget about the fuse-pull deal. I think that helped Bruce to get his 60's down a bit. I feel bad for your street tires, but am anxious to at least see your trap speed!

I have 5 gallons of 101 octane in and am ready to go.

We got only 2 practice runs in, as a Honda barfed its insides on the track causing a near 90-minute delay. Walt made it to either the quarter of semi-finals, and was running solid 13.1s while being nice to his equipment (108mph trap?). EZ, with the Stage 2 axles already and TALL gearing from Tim Goodman's set-up was running low 13s at about 108 also. He made it to the 2nd round, but I think he broke out as his loss.
Forbes and Rob had car issues, and only got one warm-up run in.
I ran an 11.8 in my 2nd practice with a 0.05 RT. On my first qualifying run, I dialed 11.65, then ran 11.7 at 127mph, but red-lit after explaining to EZ when to go from the line - some coach I am. The truck that I was running against had a 3s head-start, which made for jitters at the starting line as he was already 300' out when I started.
I ran at the same parameters as the dynos you recorded, as I couldn't concentrate my fuel mixture enough to turn the wick all the way up.
We had a good time overall - you were sorely missed. Walt called your toy names.

I thought about changing to a 13.1 but I really wanted to run in the 12's. There is no doubt that it will run about 12.6 or so. I was shifting at 5k because of a rev limiter/tranny........ who knows what problem. It would stutter over 5k.
This is the picture I keep on the desktop of my work computer to remind me to have patience when I have to give up a 5 second headstart. Note the red light Scott.
Had a good time visiting with you guys and look forward to the next time.
Where the fark were you Alvin? I wanted to race you now that you have a real car.
