Yeah, one of the 05' X was pulled over for no lic. plates and asked if he had any mods on the car. Then the CHP made him pop the hood. Lucky only got a warning.

well i live here in vallejo and heres most of the reasons why they pulled over a lot of people that day. THE CITY IS BANKRUPT, straight up broke and this is a way to get money back into the city. so they try to pull for anything. sorry for the inconvenience guys vallejo needs to get the money dammit

I have a family member who has lived in Vallejo since the early 1980's, and he told me the same thing. No money in the city. There never has been anything to bring in big revenue to the city. Not much has changed in the city since the early 1990's. Everything still looks the same if not worst. No offense, but I don't care to visit Vallejo.

My gf's parents live in Vallejo... I've heard that more than half of the city's income goes to the PD and FD. That'll make u broke real quick.

I don't think ne1 was "driving like dorks." Police and HP were just parked outside waiting for any1 who looked like they had any mods at all. One of my homies just got let go right away cuz his exhaust was stock. The other they made him pop the hood and checked all his carb stickers and let him go. My dood makes some very real looking CARB stickers LoL.
It also helped that they pulled over a modded Eclipse and SRT-4 in the same group and we could see those guys were being douche bags to the cops. Good distractions.

Just take your parents D.D. (mini van) and carpool to the show. As I said, these types of events (HIN, J Style,...) are just police traps waiting to harass imports and give fix it tickets. I don't normally attend these, but this was my first and last one. When was the last time you saw a corvette pulled over for no lic plates??

I have found a simple and effective way to not get pulled over. Leave about 45-60 minutes after the venue closes

Most memorable thing that happened at this show ...

Mr. Amateur Drifter, meet Mr. Concrete Barrier. Poor guy.

Speaking of the location of Vallejo:

I just saw a news clip on national news on CNN about Vallejo going bankrupt and they can no longer afford Police / Fire Department. Even the local Wal-Mart shut down. That's pretty bad. I think the housing market is experiencing 2,000 foreclosures. I told my brother to get out 10 year ago.
