i got a speeding ticket and i wasnt even speeding after the cmi at sucktown. there where 2 cars infront of me a suv and integra and both of them where driving fast and i was driving regular speed which is 45 when the 2 cars infront of me slow down and the suv reacted when he saw the cops and kinda lost control and almost hit the integra next to him and ofcourse i needa slow down and i saw this 2 cops pointing at my directions and was kinda laughing at eaach other and i thought they had someone to pull over,guess what i got pull over and he said i was speeding which im not and i ask him if he can prove it and show me how fast i was going.he said he cant show it to me coz the other officer was holding the lidog detector and just pointed at my car that i was speeding? im so **** and kept arguing with him telling him the 2 cars infront of me was speeding not me. and they even saw the suv kinda lost control and almost hit the integra.he said there where pointing the laser at me and the other 2 cars was driving below 50miles. i think there full of **** and i kept arguing and even ask him to check my dmv record and its clean.

me..well thats kinda weird why did you ask for my drivers license if you aint going to run it and see my record.

me. well i know i wasnt speeding and you need to prove it to me and show me the laser detector.can you just let me go since you cant show me how fast i was running.
officer. well i cant the other officer is the one who incharge with this citation that im giving you and he just told me that you where speeding.
me.wtf. thats when i told him you know what no matter what i tell you. your still going to give me this ticket.well im going to court and i will proved it.

arrghhh. long *** story **** ..should i go to court and contest the ticket.

yah im a 100 percent sure i wasnt speeding and he couldnt even show me the radar and kept telling me his partner was the one who pointed the new lidar detector . but there was to car infront of me and i was behind them how could he get me if but yah i will fight for this one. coz i told the officer im going to court and i dont care if i gotta drive 2 hrs.

 

Sorry to hear that, police can be jerks occasionally. Also...it would be kind of silly if the SUV and Integra were racing

this is actually how they ran speed traps at livermore/concord area.. one cop with lidar and a bunch of cruisers 1/4 mile down.. it was on the news.. they pulled over more than 40 cars i believe while the news crew is filming their story. crazy

 

well the suv and integra wasnt racing actually the integra was my homeboy after i got pulled over and i told him that was suppose to be his ticket not mine and he knows he was speeding.so should i just pay for the ticket and go schooling online or fight for this i mean i want to because i know i wasnt but they have the new lidar detector. and its kinda a hassle for me to go back to sacramento since i live here in san bruno.specially i gotta use gas,and time.

and i got pull over maybe a block away at the cmi track in sacramento.
i dont know what agency it was. cant even read the ticket he gave me coz of his scrappy writing.

 

the funny thing was all of my friends saw the 2 cops pointing at my directions when they pass them and they saw the 2 cops pointing and laughing at each other and thats when the other cops got into his cruiser and followed me.

I think you got pulled over on jackson hwy 16....after events mainly import events @ Sacraceway there are a ton of cops sitting @ the Arco gas on Bradshaw and Jackson...I think you should fight it, officer probably thinks you are not going to drive from the Bay area to fight it.

 

yah i think thats where i got pulled over after i put gas in arco its near kragen but not in the freeway though its in the street. oh well. and i think the agency was chp 215 if im looking at it right.so whats the procedure if i go to the court? do i need to explain everything and what if a different police officer went there and not the guy that gave me the citation. im looking at the ticket but barely can read it and i see to different officers name on the ticket. k thanks for the help guys..

 

They call your docket # then the judge will ask you if you are, guilty, innocent or plead no contest...either way just showing up to court if you are guilty/no contest, the Judge usually knocks the $ amount down on the ticket.

yah i know ive done that before but not the pleading guilty part. what if i told them the story that the officer diddnt show me any proof that i was speeding.last time i got a speeding ticket was in pittsburg in 2003 and the cops showed me the radar detector and i didnt have 2 argue with him because i was really speeding that time so i paid for it. but this time i wasnt.and i told the beetch that you guys like to pull oveer people without any reasonble tryna pull up some sheet so you guys could right a ticket so yall could make your quota.. he didnt say sheet coz i know i was right.

 

Go to court and fight it. If the police officer doesn't show up, you win automatically.

 

My last ticket was a 79 in a 65 zone on the highway...

go to court and if the officer doesnt show up then you are lucky... and if he show up then you should just change your to "no contest" law enforcements dont have to show you the radar... they are specially trained to estimate speed as well. So its your words against his.. and 99.995 of the time they will win.
