Hey guys just wanted to throw this out. Its not 100% official yet but either on July 26th or 27th of this month we will be doing a dyno shoot out.

So the shootout will be at StrictlyZ/StageMotorsports and we will be likely to doing the dyno at a shop next door to us www.dynospotracing.com

So the public is welcome, and just wanted to let people know in advance. There is a chance we might change date or cancel if something doesn't go right but I really want to see the results myself!

Exactly what's going to be dynoed at this "shootout"? Please explain what's going to take place. I'd like to get in on a dyno run.

Sorry I realized yesterday I was completly vague. We will be doing a dynoshootout for Aftermarket Cat Back Exhaust systems out there.

So far for sure we will have INJEN and BORLA, and hopefully a few others that I was announce when they are confirmed

As far as you getting dyno time sure if there is any time but pretty much we are going to probably use the whole day if we get the amount of systems that we hope to get

Ok, thanks. I'm putting my Borla on this weekend and eventually would like to dyno just to see what kind of power I have. Maybe in the future a general group dyno day can be arranged.

 

I won't be here that weekend...not that I have an aftermarket exhaust to dyno.......

Looks like we have to get a NISMO exhaust system to test for the dyno. So if anyone wants a S Tune Exhaust system that will only be used once for the dyno at a good price please give me a call at (408)286-4685.

Yuichi- So are Z owners (like me ) going to be able to put their cars on the dyno? Or are you guys using predetermined cars? If Z owners can dyno their cars, what will be the cost for doing so?

Ok I'm excited to announce that Sport Z Magazine will be doing a cat back exhaust dyno shootout for the 350Z. Below is the following exhaust schedule to be tested...

BORLA
NISMO
INJEN
5Zigen
Stillen(pending)
RSR(pending)
INVIDIA(pending)

SportZ will include on its websites a few sneak peaks at the exhaust but what will be posted for sure is sound clips of all the exhausts and maybe a few teaser results on www.sportzmagazine.com.

Full results including graphs,weight,size, decibel levels etc.. will be coming out in the upcoming issue. So if your not subscribed to Sport Z magazine check it out!

The dyno shootout will be open to the public and we do apoligize for the short notice but if you can make it out please do. We do kindly ask that nobody post results until it is posted on Sport Z, as we are opening to the public to witness the dynos.


Stage Motorsports will be doing the installs and the dynos will be done right next door at Dyno Spot Racing

Hey Guys I might need another test 350Z, as we I think we have lost one of the 2 dyno cars

Stock Car
M/T

If you guys wanna do some testing in Seattle, I'd love to let you use my car!

 

You could use mine but it already has Borla Duel and JWT POP Charger. Of course I still have the stock intake and that can be easily swapped back in for this. I guess the exhaust could be swapped for the day for that matter. But you would have to put it back the same day. 12,500 miles.

But come by and check it out, definetly I have never got to see anyone do 5 exhausts in a day. The magazines that do don't open them to the public. So don't miss out!

thanks Yuichi for setting this up. Looks like we had an awesome turnout and got to see and hear all the exhausts in person. Also got to meet some new faces. Rumor said that there was two girls in Z that showed up. Of course I was too busy runing back and forth from Stage Motorsport and Dynospot that I didn't get to meet them. Perhaps I'll get to meet more bay area folk next week at the Z by the bay event!!

 

It was nice meeting with you guys earlier today. Hope to see you again next week at the Z-Fest.
