Default Roads to bed-in brakes

Does anyone know of any good non-busy places where I can bed-in my brakes? I recently moved to the Fremont area from Hawaii and I don't know the area. I'd be willing to do it late at night so that there are even less cars on the road. I just don't need any hassles from the cops as I have 3 speeding tickets already .

Not even remotely in your area....... but last time i did mine i just did it in a huge empty parking lot, there was a cop already there so i just told him what i was doing.... he didn't care. He just told me to watch the curbs.

I'd be willing to drive a little to get to a place. It doesn't have to be in Fremont.

I have traditionally used the access road outside of Moffett Field. After business hours, that road is empty. It starts at NASA, runs past Moffett, and into the Lockheed facility. You could also go on Central Expressway, south of Castro. That's another empty road late-night. We used to do roll-ons there.

The Best place in Fremont is on Stevenson Blvd. between Civic Center Dr. and Guardino Dr.

Im joking dont do it there

But Seriously go a all the way down south on Stevenson Blvd and pass Cherry and you will see an industrial area. Best time is at night or on a Sunday.

Actually it is recommended to drive for a little while to get the rotors and pads a little heated so that you don't heat shock the rotors when performing this procedure.

yeah, that takes like 2 stops from driving down the street, and that ALSO depends on what your pad manufacturer suggests. some say otherwise

I was thinking about that. I never drove on the 880 or 680 really late at night. I guess it's pretty empty at that time.
