Got rear ended and his car is totaled
That was happened on last Tuesday night exiting Decoto Rd from northbound. This guy bumped me 6 times from the back and then tried to run away. I followed him, high beam and horn for this 3 miles local chasing. From this 3 miles chasing, he made all the stuipd turn, braking and speeding trying to run away from me. Smoke everywhere from his shitty tires and scared alot of cars going left or right. He finally landed in front of a light pole from lost control.
He ran away after the accident but cop found him at his house 2 hours later and got arrested.

I would be willing to bet that if someone was hurt do to you chasing this guy around, you could be held accountable. This is why in some police chases, police must back off so they wont endanger the public. If he wanted to, he could probably still take you to court. I think most of us have heard of crazier things happening. Like the guy that broke into someone's house through the kitchen window and cut himself on a knife and took the people to court over it... Just saying.. Probably wasn't the brightest idea on your part. PLUS.. as said. WTF would you have done if dude had a gun?!
Anyway.. At least your ok. You need to carry a dash cam from now on too! LOL

wow...
this happened to me only your is much worse, the guy backed up on while on a stop light and didnt see me behind him. once he hit my car and saw me he bailed quick.. i followed for about 3-5 minutes (longest 3-5 min ever in my life).. he ran a couple of red lights (i followed but with my hazard on and flashing on coming traffic) and seemed like he didnt know he is going.. then he finally stopped knowing he's not getting away.. i pulled up right next to him and started yelling and cursing, he got out of his POS camaro and said sorry.. at least that's all what i understood ( he didnt speak english).. luckily some kids were there skateboarding.. and called the neighbor to translate.. inspected the bumper and i asked for $100.. a bit of scratch but can be buffed off..
now that i think about it.. its not even worth it with all this road rage killings around the bay.
glad you're ok btw.. and got that sob

I would have also gotten the license plate number, would have call 911 and kept watch on him, if even from a short distance just to see where he went. But I would never let him just take off, not if it was my car... noway. I would then press charges as the police led his sorry a-- away. Sounds to me it was drunken driving, not street racing.

Now I need to find where to paint my bumper. Any good body shop to do good match with the PPW paint? Eurotech I used to go is just too far and they work only Mon-Friday 8-5.
