As far as the American muscle goes, I'm quite sure that there is some cort of vehicular racism going on but were tehre a lot of older muscle cars from the 70's and earlier there? If so, they tend to be exempt from CARB regulations. In addition, cops are probably cooler with the American car guys because they don't tend to cause as much trouble as the ricer kids.

None-the-less, it isn't fair and something should be done about it.

The All American GTG's that I have attended tend to have more of the newer cars since this caters a little more to them as the other Goodguys car shows have year restrictions (ie: pre 1955 and so on). I agree that the ricer kids are screwing it up for us regular folk that enjoy more of the tasteful mods like exhaust, correct offset wheels and clean flowing body kits. At the same time in my opinion HIN is a true ricer show as you see more of the wack as neon lights and stupid loud audio with T.V.s and big wings along with the ridiculous low to the ground suspension. I only attend because they do have some hot Asian chicks , but I have noticed that the true race car setups are becoming fewer and rare. Oh well to each their own but I know that I will never drive my Z, I'll just take the Camry with the missing hub cap so I wont be bothered by the police.

 

Yea while i Was getting my ticket a 5.0 mustang black out headlights and taillights and straight pipe mufflers drove by and all the cops turned and said hey isnt that a 5.0 mustang and looked at it then continued to give me a ticket for my smoked turn signals, tinted front windows, 03 cleared headlight what cop know there is an amber strip there lol. He ask if i had intake i said no he said open ur hood. Hey said wow ur one of the few who hasnt got one. "If u want clear headlights move back to Europe" he said officer douche bag. He also told me to take tint off right now and he wont give me a ticket lol. Then when i was leaving they all regrouped and staring talking did u get him for this and that ****ING PIGS!!!! GO stop robberys or something meaing full u dicks

Sorry 2 hear the LEOs cracked down like that. Something should be done, but honestly... we all know nothing's going 2 happen. Cops hate on imports, that's the way it is and always will be.

I'm glad I didn't go now, probably would've had to send another ticket to my CHiP fam 2 sign off haha.

 

Anyone have any connection to a nice officer to sign off the ticket? I had put back the stock amber and plate, but dont want the cop to recheck everything else in the car and risk another citation. PM me if you do. Thanks!

Be careful though as the police are probably scouting this thread and are probably conjuring-up a citation for missing hub caps.

Well glad everyone shares my frustrations on the popo. I wrote a letter to HIN on Monday. Go figure no response. I think when I get back in town I will write one to the poilce Dept also. Sorry to all of you that got pulled over. We need to find a cop that drives a Z!!!
