well the body shop informed me that my car wont be back until mid december,the damage that guy made to my car was $10,200 so yea maybe we should hold off on this meet and do it between december and jan, that way chad68 and davett could join in?

just got back from the bodyshop and they told me if none of the parts are on back order,I will have my car back by x-mas =(,so now I have to drive my rental PT cruiser even longer!!!!

Hey hows is going im new to the forum, Quin sent me the invite when he saw me in salinas a while back. And Warren had talked to me a while back when i used to work at sears auto.... Anyyyyways lol im up for the mini run sounds like fun. I couldnt make it to that peable beach run but i can make it to this one. specially since payday is on friday COUNT ME IN

I agree, it's nice t have all of us together at one time. So we can redo when your car is up and running again. $------, ouch, thank goodness for insurance.

 

If there's interest than let's do the: Sat 11/22, Meet at 6:45am at Nissan Dealership, everybody know that place. Then we leave there at 7:00am so as to get there on time to meet people and get ready for the run. We should arrive approx. 8:20am. I know Rob, and I'm sure he'll have coffee, juice, donuts, etc for morning snack in his bay at the shop. He always does for his gathering. If we left a few minutes earlier say 7:00am then we may be in time to get a good parking place, as there will be many Z/G's there and I hate parking a block away. So a little feedback there. (Distance 62.5 miles and approx travel time: 1hr20 min - uhhh depending on how we drive). I just uploaded all the new "Speed Camera and Redlight Cameras on my detector Tues., so I'm up to date). If there's interest, I think it would be fun, and everybody can see the new 370Z and meet the owner of ZCarGarage. Also there's Show & Shine that day. Also I can give anybody that goes a map overview, closeup of when getting off of Hwy 101 overview showing the streets, and step by step route directions too. Also free food, beverages, t shirts, raffles/give away, several car clubs will be coming, and on hand will be Product Specialists for the Z/G people. Sounds pretty good... (Got my new personalized plates for my Z too!) The Z/G Run leaves the garage at 9:00am and goes to Elk Grove Nissan also.

Yeah i work at monterey now by hwy 68. How did your hood come along? Mine flew off in the freeway broke my window, dented my roof, bended my fenders. the latch on the hood broke off and the hood pins did not work for $#!& lol oh well.

I'm working that day but i might go up friday morning to zcargarage in san jose to check it out,and talk about getting my ecu tuned.

 

Well, I just got an email, that they are now leaving San Jose on the fun at 8:00am. Now that's an hour earlier than they had posted, and I really don't think I want to get up another hour earlier. I guess they had missed calculated the the time, when it was set to leave at 9:00am. I think maybe we should just fall back and wait for Quinn's car to h-e-a-l and then doe a mini run here. I get up now 5:00 am for work and I really don't want to do that if I'm off. So Felix, maybe we'll just wait. If I get off early on Friday, I may go up around 3:00 or 3:45pm to see the car itself and indulged in the food, etc. but at least I get home I can sleep in on Sat. Sorry guys, the time change had change my thinking on this one.

 

Update: They changed the run time from 9:00 to 8:00am, too early for me as you can see from my above Post #35, I will drop out on this one. I will just withdraw this plan of mine due to the time change in San Jose. I already noted it in Post #29 "CANCEL...CANCEL...CANCEL" Felix, you will have to join us on our next mini run, when Quinn's car gets back. Yes my hood, and spoiler is on, I was going to show you, except you weren't at Sears anymore. So next gathering it will be there.

 

Too bad Warren. The one time I was going to sneak out and play. I hope my CF hood doesn't fly off

 

yeah i go second on that one it is too early. but as long as the next run is on a weakend. ill be there.

 

Yeah, we have to get Quinn's car out of the auto-hospital and running. Then like Felix said, get a weekend run set up. I think maybe through Carmel Valley, or to Santa Curz, or even San Jose, just to have a nice drive with a stop for refreshments...we could even plan a cruise and hit some electronics store or sports car type store to check out things. Anything to have a little fun with a little entertainment.
