As some of you may know my little Z(kimber)was rear-ended 10/28/08 and the shop says they will be done with her by the 25th of november so i was seeing if anyone was interested in having a meet on 12/7/2008 (sunday)to celebrate her coming back home to me

The meeting spot would be the regular spot at target in fort ord, at noon. Maybe after go for a nice sunday drive,gas is getting cheaper here so that should be easy on you folks.Also for the salinas people we can meet at mynissan in salinas and then head out to fort ord. gimmie your input.

Is that Thanksgiving weekend? I may or may not be back in town be then if it is.

I'm back..."from Sacramento" and yes the S/C needs a little exercise. Did Laguna SECA a few weeks back, back boy was that a good one, the super cars were excellent. Anyway the dates look good, I'm back working Saturdays again, but I can make adjustments to the dated decided on. Dave have you got the clutch fixed? I believe a short run with a snack somewhere would be pretty nice. I like those. My annual run went well by the way and the Pebble Beach buffet was so good........... Even saw a wedding on the grass while relaxing at Pebble Beach. This Sat we're going to Sapporo on the wharf for dinner at 5:30pm, "our 10th year anniversary and my wife's birthday". Anybody free is definitely invited to join us.But I'm definitely in for the next run.

About this: Anybody interested on any of it, or going to it?
The 370Z will be revealed on Friday, 11/21 at the Z Car Garage in San Jose from 3-7 PM In addition, there will be a Z cruise from Z Car Garage on Saturday, 11/22 at 9:00 AM to Elk Grove Nissan for the additional reveal plus show and shine.
If, I say, if there's interest, we could plan a group run together. I'm actually thinking of Sat to see the car and do the run (as long as I'm not working. Rob's place (ZCarGarage) is a good place for everybody to go, if they haven't been there yet. That's where I take my car. Quinn, here's the chance to talk about yours and the what if's, that might be interesting to know....

 

No way I can make it sat or sun, I have to be at work at 10pm and it's a long drive from there back home. If I call in sick more than one day a year they start to get pissy. I have about a week and a half off between xmas up till the 4th of Jan off for vacation. Maybe there will be a new years meet or something.

 

I would love to go check out the 370z but my car wont be out the shop until the 25th. BUT if its done earlier were you thinking about going to the one at z car garage or in elk grove?

 

that would be a pretty good meet to go to, new generation car with tons of 350'z sounds pretty good we need an official date, time and place so we can all meet up prob Salinas would be a good place to meet up right??

 

If we want to do it, I would say Sat 11/22, Meet at 7:00am at Nissan Dealership, everybody know that place. Then we leave there at 7:15am so as to get there on time to meet people and get ready for the run. We should arrive approx. 8:35am. I know Rob, and I'm sure he'll have coffee, juice, donuts, etc for morning snack in his bay at the shop. He always does for his gathering. If we left a few minutes earlier say 7:00am then we may be in time to get a good parking place, as there will be many Z/G's there and I hate parking a block away. So a little feedback there. (Distance 62.5 miles and approx travel time: 1hr20 min - uhhh depending on how we drive). I just uploaded all the new "Speed Camera and Redlight Cameras on my detector Tues., so I'm up to date). If there's interest, I think it would be fun, and everybody can see the new 370Z and meet the owner of ZCarGarage. Also there's Show & Shine that day. Also I can give anybody that goes a map overview, closeup of when getting off of Hwy 101 overview showing the streets, and step by step route directions too. Also free food, beverages, t shirts, raffles/give away, several car clubs will be coming, and on hand will be Product Specialists for the Z/G people. Sounds pretty good... (Got my new personalized plates for my Z too!)

Dave, glad to hear the car is fixed. Now if you able, this run will be fun.
