Damn rain just won't go away on the weekends. Just drove back home last night in 2 hours of pouring rain from S.F. It was not fun or a safe hydro. on 101. My car looks like it went through the mud.
Forecast this weekend, more f'n rain. Sorry, as much as I would like to go to this, I don't think I can handle back to back rain run.
Have fun and drive safely.

They've charged my C/C ~ 2.5 weeks ago.
No matter, we're in regardless of weather.
See you at ZCG Saturday

It just so happens I'm heading to Monterey this Saturday evening, and was planning on staying the night... but this event sounds interesting. I won't be able to make it to ZCG in the morning, but was wondering about what time will everyone get to this castle place? It seems about 4 hours away, and once everyone gets there what's the plan? Will there be any mountain runs near the castle? Or once everyone gets there will they just stay indoors?
(I have no interest in the actual castle... just the surrounding areas and roads)

Dinner is scheduled at 6PM at El Chorlito Mexican Restaurant in San Simeon. We have reserved a private room at the back and your welcome to join us. After dinner there is a covered patio area with a fire pit at the Quality Inn across the highway from the Mexican Restaurant where we usually hang out.
The next morning some people are schedule for castle tours, others will head up to view the Elephant Seals and then drive up to Ragged Point to the viewpoints.
Dinner is scheduled at 6PM again but this time at the Manta Ray adjacent to the hotel. Their food is pretty exceptional for the area. We have their small room at the back reserved for those that don't want to drive into Cambria for dinner.
If you have not made a reservation at San Simeon you had better do right away. Most of the hotels are already booked. The last one that had any reasonable rooms - 800-621-3999 (Silver Surf Motel) approx. $116 per night.
See you there!! Yolanda

I am just glad I have not been billed for it and have to pay for trip before I even get there. Mini Fridge? Now that is style-n.
btw: the best run is gonna be the drive down on Sat. You should try to hook up with us at ZCG or the next stop for lunch. Thereafter things will get exciting.
We will be heading right past you from FF in the morning,

Thanx for that 411.
Rain or no rain... we're excited about this and hanging with ZONC (NSX peeps too b/c they're enthusiasts as well).
It's all about (in my book) the same general passion and great people with awesome cars
See you then and hi to Jack
