Default Pissed Off

okey well my car got rear ended right before xmas.brought it to this shop where my friend works.took it there and they said they will take care of everything.its been 1 month and a week already and they kept telling me that the car is going to be ready soon.Anyway they said the car is supposed to be ready today which is friday and i went there to check out the car and the rear bumper doesnt really match the paint on my car.he said it needs to be polished and i have to wait till tomorrow or another week to let the paint dry and get the right color.now i wouldnt be able to go to the show this sunday. Now im so pissed off.shoulda brought it to the same shop where i got my car painted.the owner said well ppw is really hard to match the paint and it wouldnt be a 100 percent perfect.i was like another shop painted my rear bumper and it matches the whole car.**** even when i bought my v2 front from shine and makito painted it and it was shipped to me.it matches the car.but that rear bumper they painted was like pure white.so whats the best thing to do?

should i take the car back and let another shop fix it.make them pay?

im not gonna call them out yet.till tomorrow!!

here is the picture that i took awhile ago.

i feel for you man, i had an rsx that was parked and a hit in run which sucked, shop told me it was going to be ready soon and the more i would call the more they lagged, as for the paint not matching man you should have them repaint it. insurance money or out of pocket? if so have your insurance talk to them, i took my car out of their and had another shop do the work good luck man..

Damn, I would be pissed too. The color is way off in the first pic, no way will a buff make that better.

Is the second pic from before the accident?

A week to cure, they are so full of ****, had my Maxima which is PPW (Stage 3 white paint) and they had it done in 3 days, matched perfectly. Dealer did sya Stage 3 Pearl is expensive but it does NOT take a ****ing week to match. They are idiots! Contact your insurance company and whatever you do, DO NOT sign and drive away, refuse the service!

Just because your boy works there doesn't mean you have to bring your car there to have them work on. On top of that, since they have someone in there that knows you, they can push your work back, or worse, choppy paint work, which, seem like the case to me.

+1

You'll either get special treatment or lazy treatment most of the time.
