Default Mod friendly dealers in South Bay??

Do any of you guys know any mod friendly dealers in the South Bay? I thought Capitol was mod friendly but have recently been informed otherwise by MGV.
My problem is I have an annoying creaking sound when I first take off from a stop. This noise has been diagnosed, with the help of some forum members, as the rear axel spindle and it needs to be lubed.
So I need to take my car in but don't want any hassle or to have my warranty voided.
Anyone have any first hand experince with a mod friendly dealer which they can recommend? Bruce- how is your dealership?

J - Just a thought, may be you should also post this in the SoCal forum just in case you can't find one here in NorCal...

Well I know Perfrmance Nissan is in SoCal. But I'm looking for something local that I can take my car to regularly.

Avoid Stevens Creek Nissan, since it's owned by the same corporation as Capitol Nissan. This isn't to say that SCN service advisors aren't cool, but they have less flexibility thanks to corporate control. I've heard that Falore Nissan on El Camino in Sunnyvale is pretty good, although, when I was looking for an alternative to SCN once for a problem on my Z, they didn't call me back after they found out the part I needed was expensive.

Anyway, Falore is a fairly small shop, so they may be more inclined to be mod friendly. I'll ask tomorrow or Friday what things are like at SCN and let you know. If you do any service at SCN, go through Jim Currier. The other advisors are cool, too, but Jim's the most on top of his game, and he used to work for an independent service station.

Man, I wish we had a dealer like Performance Nissan or Smithtown Nissan up here in the Bay Area. A dealer who's actually into using these cars for what they were made for.

Exactly what I'm talking about. San Diego area has Mossy and LA has Performance. Where is ours?

I took my car to Stanford a few months ago (where I bought my car) and they seemed pretty cool. The SA even warned the tech about my front lip and to be careful. They also were complimenting on the exhaust. However they recently changed ownership so I don't know if things have changed.

I've heard some bad things about the techs at Falore. I think these there the guys that tried to rotate the rear tires to the front (if I remember correctly).

Anyone have experience with Boardwalk's service dept?

Default Fremont was cool!!

The SA didn't say anything about my rims and suspension and the technician who does work on my car kept his mouth shut and check all my rattles and stuff...even thought his co-workers all gave him crap. He is cool, and his name is Tommy! I am going in again next Tuesday for an oil change!!

I asked Jim Currier over at Stevens Creen Nissan today, and he said that the head tech, Gary, is usually pretty reasonable, and as long as the area that needs work wasn't affected by your mods, you're alright.
