Nope, I didn't.

Still calling for some scattered showers, 30% chance, so we're likely fine.

What happens if it starts raining? Do they still let us run?

i reserved a parking spot too.

My track wheels are vibrating@75-80mph... ugh, gonna have to do a rebalance tomorrow. Wonder if it lost so much rubber the last 2 times I used it that it's out of balance.

I just went to a shop in San Ramon and heard that someone with a '06 Silver 350Z track edition may be coming to TH as well. Anyone know who this might be?

thought there's only 4 ppl for sure.

solidfish - driving school
zettahertz - solo
pchio - point-by
scotts300 - open?

SE5spd (not going?)

hmm... 40% chance of rain. agh. I rarely even drive my Z in the rain... gonna take it sloooow (if it pours) and slowly increase my speed.

SE5spd started this post, isnt he?

You dont drive ur Z in the rain that way. You have to drive it hard, Turn, clutch in, and e-brake :P

I reg'd for point by. I just finished messing with the suspension and checking the brake pads. Good thing I did, as one of the front ones had a huge piece missing!

Looks like the possibility for am showers now, stopping by 9am, which would be great.

Ah sucks that I'm in driving school... Would be fun running with the other Zs.

If the rain stops by 9, that would be perfect. Cause thats when our group starts

Just a one time thing (usually...) and should be useful so you don't just get thrown right in. I thought it was kinda intimidating on my first day.
Think the 3 courses are
1) slow course run with instructor car in front.
2) learn the passing,
3) practice the flags.

Then free for all in the afternoon right? Cant wait! I'll be at motel8 tonight.

btw, is there a club house or something there? Not sure if we need to pack a lunch. Email said something about a "no host grill"?? I figure we could also get something quick at Willows too.

I always bring my lunch, but at all my recent events, the grill was open (it used to not be open for smaller events). You would have time to run into town given the duration of lunch and when your next/last session time is.

I am finishing the prep on my car tonight, and leaving in the morning. I'm in the first run group, so need to get there early to get ready.

BTW, watch a few on-track vids like the one I've posted to get yourself a little familiar with the course. It'll help immensely.
