Do any of you guys experience an on-again-off again rattling noise that sounds like a gieger counter from the radio/NAV area? Everytime I push the dash in it stops. I went to San Rafael Nissan to have this checked out but alas, no rattle when we took if for a drive.
Do the guys at Stevens Creek know about these miscellaneous rattles?

From what I heard from the service guys while I was there, a lot of times it just turns out to be something not glued properly under the panel. It takes time to fix it, but the procedure is simple. Once taken care of, they hadn't had anybody come back with the same complaint.
anyone try to get trunk stuck fixed at Steven Creek?
I think I'm gonna have to make another app. to go in to get the fix. It does not open after first try every time now. Also still have a rattle on the driver side that I need to bring it back to get it fixed.

my driver side window is now hitting that piece of plastic between that small window. plus, i still have the rattling problem from the passenger's side. unfortunately, gary has a hard time isolating the sound because of my exhaust...
My car's list of problems:
1. Front suspension makes a clunking sound under braking. (Fixed)
2. Window grease. (One side fixed, other side still has the problem)
3. Seat clicking (Last time I took it in, they still didn't have the TSB)
4. Rattling noise coming from the steering column.
5. Rattle coming from the rear view mirror.
6. Seat bolsters wearing.
7. Driver's side window makes rattling noises after they fixed the grease problem.
8. Front tires roar under braking.
9. The rear suspension makes weird creaking/clicking noises.
10. Trunk gets stuck and refuses to open.
The list goes on...wee!

They just tightened a bolt that holds the upper A-arm in place. It's pretty simple to fix. In fact, I remember reading a DIY on a coilover install that mentioned tightening that bolt because that's the cause of the front end clunking sound.
So I finally went to Stevens Creek Nissan on Friday to get the problems fixed. Gary was awesome! He addressed the problems that he could fix on the spot, and ordered the parts to get the rest fixed. The only one he refused to fix are the problems caused by Falore Nissan when they "fixed" my window the first time. I have to go back to Falore to get those problems addressed, which really stinks.

Wow I need to get a lot of things fixed. Just wanted to clarify something, originally I posted this thread awhile ago just to send you guys to a friendly and good service advisor. I didn't intend for it to be a warrenty thread but I guess it turned into it. Nothing wrong with that.
Just I hope you guys remeber when you get other service done to support these guys. Especially 15k, 30k etc.. Basic maintenance stuff as well which I'm sure you all will.
Glad you guys are finding good help

I guess I need to make time to bring my car in...
btw, how did they fix the trunk? Mine is getting very very annoying..
Oh yeah, sorry about that, I didn't mean to hijack the thread. So, to get back on topic, Stevens Creek seems to be really cool about mods, as they didn't seem to mind the ones I had on my car (not that they are extensive or anything).
As for the trunk problem, they installed a shim under the springs to help push the trunk up when the trunk is released. It works perfectly now.

Technical Service Bulletins
Are the TSBs posted here for free & Where?
I cant believe nissan charges fee for the bulletin details.
I'm getting the same things done tomorrow (oil & rattle)
.
Since there's been a lot of complaints of Dealerships not being "mod friendly", I'm just taking mine to ZCarGarage.
What kind of rattle are you talking about? Is is the mysterious dash rattle that everyone is having? If so, I had mine done before at the dealership & it just came back within a month. Sometimes I think they're just BS'ing. I still have my rattle and it's freakin annoying!!!
.
Anyways, I'm fixing a whole different rattle tomorrow. I hit a bump a few weeks ago and now my exhaust sounds like it's slightly rubbing against something which is causing more of a faint rumble sound then anything.
