Default Brakepad/rotor suggestions?

I've outgrown the stock brakes, and need something with a bit more endurance. Nismo r-tune pads and rotors are garbage. What do you track junkies recommend for something that wont fade easily?

I DD my car, but take it for some runs occassionally that fade the brakes to nothing in about 20 minutes. Application must fit '03-05 OEM Brembo calipers.

I hear Ferrodo pads are good, am not sure on which rotor to get with them though.

Ferrodo d2500 brake pads are my choice + DBA rotors. I dont get fade at all for full 20 mins session and quiet on the street. Dont forget to get some good brake fluid. I have Super blue racing.

I have various track pads that I used when I was tracking my wife's ZR with Brembos. I don't have a use for them anymore.

BTW, is/was your Z at ZCG? I thought I saw it parked there last week.

Yeah that was mine, the wheel flew off on the freeway x_X... mostly cosmetic damage, minor damage to the left front lower control arm and spindle. No other party was involved thankfully, and no one was hurt. I just skid to the shoulder on the rotor and stuff for about 300ft.

Ouch, did you have wheel spacers on or how did your wheel fly off?

edit: I use Project Mu B-Force with Girodisc 2-piece rotors, haven't take my car to the track with this setup yet, but from DD there is no squeak or fade. If you are interested I have a dyno comparing the dyno performance difference from the 10lbs off the rear axles.

It was so amazed that you didnt hit anything after the wheel fell off! I have heard some stories that people died from this kind of accident, and killed the innocent other vehicle driver! God was with you

Scott, which track pads/rotors have you used? I don't care about dust any more, just fade-resistance.

Stock Brembo blanks, nothing cross-drilled or other such nonsense. I just dug out a bunch of Brembo pads. Porterfields and Hawks. I'll have to check which variant of each there was, but I used them for the open tracks and they worked perfectly.

Both Hawk HT-10 and Porterfield R4 are good, or R4-E for enduro.

I'm thinking of selling the Brembos and buying the Stoptech 14" kit for sale in the norcal classifieds. If anyone can buy my Brembo's for around $1200 while the Z is in the shop, I'll do this. Hit me up!

I've been looking at a set of rears. Would you split them? The fronts would certainly sell, too.

I have an offer for the full kit already, but am open to offers until I pick up the stoptech kit. PM me your offer for the rears.

Also, I'm looking into ST40 caliper brakepads now. I'm considering these:
Hawk HT-14
Ferodo DS3000 Endurance
Ferodo DS3000+03
PERFORMANCE FRICTION 97 Compound Race - Race pad
PERFORMANCE FRICTION 01 Compound Race - Race pad
PERFORMANCE FRICTION 1038 - Street/Track pad

I can't find enough info on the Performance Friction brakepads though... looking for info on:
Category, Max Operating Temp*, Dust, Noise, Bite/Mu (graph of friction corresponding to operating temperatures would be nice), Judder/Vibration, Pad wear, and Rotor wear.

Anyone used any of these on the streets daily driving as well? Can you please testify to how fast the rotors wear with these pads? I want the stopping power/fade resistance when I go run the car hard, but really don't want to replace rotors every oil change or anything crazy like that.
