Default ClubZ.org track day @ Thunderhill

OK guys and girls, for those of you that don't already know ClubZ.org is hosting a track day at Thunderhill in December. If you are not familiar with ClubZ.org, they are large Z club (all years) based here in NorCal. You can check out the web page at www.clubz.org.

Clubz.org regularly schedules events including runs, track days, caravans to shows etc. Their next track event is scheduled for Dec 20th at Thunderhill. Details can be found here: http://www.clubz.org/track/track_day_12-20-03.html

In order to register for the track day you will need to register and pay for a regular or lifetime membership with Clubz.org (if you are not already a member). A regular yearly membership is $25. The price for track day is $190. if you sign up one month prior to the event. If you register within one month there will be a $25. late fee.

So if you're interested in taking your car to the track check out the clubz.org web site. Hope to see you guys there.

-Jason

I might be able to go, but my gf won't let me track my car yet.... I know, I know, but have to listen to her because, so far, she's always been right 99.9% about everything.

Yes Clubz.org has the track for the entire day. There are only five people registered because everyone is a procrastinator (like me). It will fill up- always does.

Man, I totally wanted to go, but I'm going to be down in LA for business! Dammit! Sigh, I guess I'll have to wait for the next one.

Default Wow thats a long time!!

I think the next one is going to be in JULY. They have it twice a year. but a lot of the other clubs have events there that you can usually jump in.

Its just cool to see all the Z's out on the track!

Well if you sign up early it's $190. If you wait until one month prior there is a $25 late charge. So just pay your membership and sign up now. Same thing as signing up late.

Well, I don't know ifI'm going to be working that Saturday. Sure, I got weekends off now (mostly), but Saturdays are still fair game for my soon-to-be new employer to ask for my time.

FYI for those that never been on a track or are worry about driving a stock 350Z on the track.

The stock 350Z is a lot more capable then you would imagine on the track. By the end of the day, I still felt that I could have push the car even harder....

as far as the track day, Thunderhill is a perfect place for first time track. There is no wall. Lots of long run offs that are dirt minimizing damage to your car if you some how end up off the track. The only car that I saw that actually floated off the track was a bone stock 4 door camary. Yes of Toyota family sedan variant. Ok that and Yuichi
And with the ClubZ track day, driving in the class A, you would have an instructor with you at all time thus you can only improve your driving skills!!
so those of you that are on the fence!! SIGN UP!! unless you're afraid you'll be addicted...

actually what am I saying, don't sign up, I need more track time....
