Hopefully when Arnold actually takes office he will at least lower it, being that he has many Hummers that'll cost over a G to register 1 of his vechicles

I am waiting until the last day to renew. Maybe Arnold will step up to the plate and lower the rate? I got until Jan. to pay without a fine so why pay ahead of time?

that's what I did.. hold it out until the last day, then pay it with credit card online. I thought Arnold was already in the office? I'm probably wrong though...

7 months for Arnold to do something about it. That's just crazy to blow 7 bills on reg. I can't believe they actually pass such a stupid law to triple fees like that. A family with 3 cars that work hard would never be able to afford something like that. There's other ways to redo the budget.
Arnold will be sworn in on Monday, 11/17/03 at 11: am. in Sacramento. He has said that immediately after taking office, he will repeal the 3X vehicle registration and strike down the law that "loser Davis" signed regarding the illegal alien drivers licenses.
According to information I received from the DMV on Friday, 11/14, we will be receiving a rebate from the state for fees that have been collected since the 3X law went into effect.
As far as the driver license law repeal, it appears that illegal aliens will have to continue to drive without a license and insurance until something else changes.
Happy Motoring............
