Anyone here going to Thunderhill or Laguna Seca with ncracing over Labor day weekend?

 

I'm on the wait list for LS on Monday!

 

What about thunderhill on Friday? I'm registered for thill but that bracket racing at LS looked fun too.

 

I'm waitlisted for the Solo group for Thunderhill on Friday..

 

No T-hill for me on Friday. . .

I thought about doing the bracket racing, but that's a lot of effort for just two sessions that are hours apart from each other.

 

Ya it would been nice to do as part of a full day session. Like timing the last two sessions of the day or something. I think I would've scored well, because I'm very consistent. Consitently slow that is...

 

Consistently anything would have been great for that competition! Just keep the rubber on the road in T2!

 

Looks like we got HOD for the 8th at Thunderhill.. so I'm cancelling my waitlist on the 3rd and doing that instead.

 

Really? I didn't hear anything from David!?!

so who ended up getting in from the waitlist last friday? i was wait listed also and didnt hear anything from dave or gwen......

 

Anthony said he didn't get in on the waitlist either, so canceled to drive today with HOD. I did get in off the wait list for NCRC on Monday at Laguna, and it was a great day.

 

How was Laguna Scott? Thunderhill was literally hot as hell. My thermometer read 105 at one point in the afternoon. Had a great time though. I'll post some pics and video tonight.

I'm signed up for one more day at Thunder Hill for Oct 22. This will probably be my last track day for awhile. We're expecting our first baby in November. I'll be in lock down after that...

 

Can't believe the Solo group is already full for that October 22nd date.

 

Ya that went quick. It was open earlier this week.

 

Laguna was awesome as usual. It was warm for the area, but still less than 80F. Congrats on the expectation!

I think both of you guys have enough experience to drive in their point-by group. I drove in that group at Laguna, and there were quite-a-few cars that seemed to have less experience than you two have. They recommend 8 track days, but that is a soft amount.

 

Thanks! Dave actually told me that I could move to the pointby group if recommended by an instructor. Do you think I could throw in your name?

 

Hmm, probably not, as I'm not one of their approved instructors.
