Question Bay area dealer with good service department?

So my 06' failed the oil consumption test and needs the short block replaced. Until July 2010 they were replacing complete long blocks, now only the short block gets replaced. This means a dealership technician gets to remove the heads, cams, etc, and put everything back together. Needless to say, I don't feel very comfortable with this I don't want this done at the dealership where I had the oil consumption done. These guys didn't even place the car on an even surface to measure/refill the oil and I've had a previous bad experience with them.

I'm looking for a Nissan dealership with a top notch service department where I can have the oil consumption test done again and have them do the short block swap. I'm in the east bay but willing to drive a couple of hours each way to have this done.

Does such a dealership exist? If you have info please post.
Thanks!

I wouldn't go to concord they are dbags and dont know anything...when I got my slave replaced at Walnut Creek nissan (dirito brothers) I had a really good experience...the only annoying thing is they refused to give me a rental and it took them almost 2weeks (ordering parts, replacing parts but figuring out they had to replace more parts so ordering parts again) but aaron(the service manager) is really nice and doesnt act like youre stupid and know nothing.

Gun-to-head, I'd have it done at Sunnyvale Nissan. Their main service guy has been there for decades. Aside from them, I have had horrible experiences with Nissan service departments. But I have to ask - 5 1/2 months later, and you still haven't had the short block rebuilt? Will it still be covered?

Thanks for the replies.

Scott, it should be covered but I need to perform the oil consumption test again. I'll check the Sunnyvale dealer out.

Thanks.

Aaron is the front desk guy, this guy is old and wears a leather apron all the time he is in the back. Like I said you'll know him when you see him.

I have an appointment tomorrow to start the oil consumption test again at Sunnyvalle Nissan.

We'll see how that goes. Thanks for all the suggestions.
