There's a Test and Tune AutoX on the 29th for NorCal UFO members. Starts at noon, too.

Unfortunately he's been out of town! So Sunday I'll be on the going bald street tires one last time. I hope to have my hitch installed by then though, and possibly remove the subs from the back to start dumping weight.

Truth. My wife thinks I have a problem. Current count is about 70 tires right now.

Yup, sorry, Chris! I'm bummed I'll miss the event (and the points), but I can't complain about where I've been the last two weeks either.

I'll be out there Sunday. Looks like rain? Will likely give BSP a shot. I wont be competitive with EVO's and the car really isnt setup yet. I'm running BSP rather than B stock due to intakes and oilcooler. Oh and I'm going to be sporting some non stock wheels at this event. LOL!

Scott what class are you running this year??

Cool! I didnt realize somone of your caliber in world of AX was in a 350 Z locally. This will be fun!

That Marina surface isnt the best for a Z in BSP (especially if it rains) but maybe we can make Josh in the EVO sweat a little.

Are you planning to stay in BSP? I'm looking for a class to run the Nismo and havent quite decided. BS wasnt going to work as I didnt want to run the car without an oilcooler and I want to use cheaper 18" wheels. The 19' wheels/tires to fit on these things would kill me!

I will be rolling on some crazy wheels and tires Sunday.

My caliber is far from what it used to be, and even than wasn't what I wanted it to be

I ran BSP at the end of September on street tires (like I will this sunday) and was DFL

I do plan on staying in BSP, unless of course the move to ESP actually happens. I'm starting prep work on the car next weekend getting it BSP ready, though I have a long way to go before it will be fully prepped.

Shamu, what are you going to be using for wheels/tires? Are you going to run on the stock suspension or have you made some changes?

Lol! I have only had it for 4 weeks since I drove it home from the showroom. Two of those weeks I was in China. Already have upgraded brakes, oil cooler and intakes. Haven't decided on what I will do with suspension however Nismo suspension is fairly impressive for stock issue stuff. I'm probably not going to build a national level car but it will be fast.

I borrowed a set of GT R wheels with huge R888's for this weekend until I get my 18x11 wheels and 295 Hoosiers.

Rain or no rain, I'm still going tomorrow. I ripped the stereo, sub, amps and all speakers out of my car today for the season

I do. I don't roll on the street without tunes. See you ax diehards out there in the rain today. Nothing like learning how to drive a new car in the rain! This is my maiden voyage with the Nismo.
