Anyone know about this event?

Stockton this Sunday night 2/27/11. Autosport209 is hosting another night gathering(round 2). Events starts at 7pm and ends whenevers. Canibeat, Stay Stetti, Vipdout photographers and models. Everyone is invited. Come out, chill, relax and check some cleeeeaaannnn rides from Nor-Cal. Refreshments will be provided.

I might roll out there, let me know if anyone wanna join.

 

Stockton is not the safest place to hang out at night lol.

Thanks for the info .. 7pm is too late to be heading out to Stockton (LOL . that'd be the time I'd start heading back to Sac)

But who knows .. since I plan to be at the Stay Stetti/Moda Lounge event in March .. it might give me a chance to meet 'em ..

If there's a group going from Sac .. I might join .. (2nd thought? I might go out there early before the "event")

 

Clean sweep area in local neighborhood results in fatalities, robbery and auto thefts by unknown & organized youth gang. . A few nice cars pull up and gather. As this occurs, several other cars, a van and 2 trucks pull in and strategically post themselves as to control any and all traffic to & from the advertised nice car staging area. Strangely enough, some of the street lights are suddenly turned off as if by being shot out by high powered air rifles.
Once the crowd starts to pulse and things get flowing, music beating and actually wine starts to surface, there's a sharp bang or POP! in the background. Looking over, there's a body lying on the ground w/ a freshly cracked hole in the rear window with an even larger hole exiting the front window. A small yet very profound trickle of colored fluid seems to be oozing from the half exposed open skull wound. Almost at the same time, doors on the van fly noisily open up and several persons, all wearing hoods emerge and start to make the remaining attendees and crowd members lay on the ground. POP!POP ! sound goes off again and, there's another motionless person laying on the ground w/ a young girl at their side starting to cry and then scream uncontrollably. The hooded folks then open their arms with large , but tailored shotguns and yell at the crowd to get on the ground or, they'll be hurt. Doing so, the crowd is ransacked by these fearless methodical few and so are relieved of personal valuables. The two other trucks pull up and hook up to several of the very nice and expensive Zs. They are hauled off in a loud and clambering roar, Several more pops are heard and then there are more groans from the remaining crowd members still cowering on the ground. Almost as fast as all of this has happened, , it ends with the hooded members all climbing back into their rides and roaring off, leaving the remaining crowd members, all shaking where they lay or huddled.
Just another nice and quiet night w/ the Z Crowd who only wanted to Meet & Greet, show off their nice and shinny cars and spend some Quality Time in an older, yet secluded portion of the city.
It appears that in today’s downturn of hard times, folks are turning to more desperate measures of taking from others and not being afraid to hurt those who might say No!.

Be careful in attending those unknown, short notice M&Gs! Times are getting pretty scary out there within rival turf. There’s a reason , why these different areas have their rumors on being a little bit rough around the edges.
Just a thought, as you are cruising down that battened path, when a sleek, yet all darkened windows car pulls up alongside of you, It’s side windows quickly creep open up, and with short & metallic looking posts extruding, bright flashes seem to erupt from it’s ends. Suddenly. You lose control of your steering as you feel the hot flash of sharp pain rip through your hip. Stomach and chest. Stomping on the brakes and stopping, you are drug from your car and watch several others hook up to it w/ a truck and drive off.
Ever wondered how true this is when you read about the Turf Wars ?

FWIW .. AutoSport209 had a similar show last month (but it was during daylight hours). A couple of the local NSX guys were there .. vibe I got "mostly compact imports" ...

Here are a few pictures
took over the entire shopping area. 5 Police units even showed up to see what the commotion was. There must've been 150 plus cars at one time. Also, the variety of cars was outstanding, Lexus, R35, R33, Jdm imports, and Euros. Photos and Media coverage from Vipdout, Stay Stetti, and Canibeat hopefully will be up soon. Props to the models for taking photos in the cold.

Yea? U never see a cop before? That's the 2nd show Stockton cops are cool with it.

 

LOL .. Stockton, CA. In the evening .. that many cars/attendees .. and you didn't expect to see Stockton PD at least make their presence shown? And no doubt the local PD may be "cool with it" .. but they just didn't happen to be in the area. It wouldn't suprise me if Autosport209 hadn't at least coordinated with the authorities on their plans ...

 

yeah, anywhere will be the same, even if you have an event this big in Sacramento, Sac PD will be there as well.
