13.14 I slammed on the brakes cuz I had him by 10 cars and last run I fouled, so I played with the shift points...still pretty consistent for an old guy.
I don't think I can go tomorrow, but if you guys are coming up, let me know and I will try to make it. Showers are scheduled for tomorrow though.
We're headed to Laguna next week on a school day, so will have to wait a few weeks to bug out early for the Wed night drags. I don't like the rain anyway, as traction is already a challenge! My Z32 is getting the NHRA-legal cage later this month, which I'm excited about.

You should be able to hit that given what I have seen in the past. Especially if you let me drive it.

But it has a clutch - you know - you have to use the left foot for more than just balancing your body in the seat. One problem - the differential is from the NA Z (shorter gears), which was designed for 222hp!

I know about clutches and have drag raced cars with 4:88 gears, how short are yours?......sonny.

Haha - touche! They are 4.08 instead of 3.69. In either event, however, 4th gear would be necessary. I may show up on street tires to start to see how the new clutch feels, especially if I don't have the cage yet.

That sounds like a good way to protect the clutch. They might be back to 11.5 for the cage requirement. They are really checking the helmets right now since this is the cutoff for the SA2000 rating. I had to buy a new one.

The helmet is no problem, I got a new SA2010 a few months ago.
Last year - in print - the rule was under 12.00, however, Rob ran several sub 12s in that TT 350Z, and no one gave him a hard time. I would be fine on street tires; probably 12 flat or so. . .gaining lots on the big end.
