Where in Gods name did you get your work done at?? I've called at least a half dozen places, including ones from the shop directory sticky. They've either a) never cut a bumper before or b) are quoting exorbitant (~1000$) prices. At this point, I'll even drive to Sac for an experienced shop with reasonable quotes.
Any leads are appreciated - thanks in advance.

I got mine done from a free lance body guy. I got my complete shine kit prepped/painted/installed for $800. Absolute steal, and turned out perfectly.
When I called him and mentioned the diffuser install... he asked if there were any instructions. I sent him the pictures from shine about where to cut, and he said it didn't look too hard and he got it done.
Good luck on your search.

I dont see how you can expect any sort of serious, legit quote on something 99.9% of shops are not going to know about the existance of in the first place. You're going to need to take the bumper, and the diffuser to your intended shops, and have them look at it first hand
The second thing with any body shop quote is what products do they use in the first place? Paint comes in systems, sort of like how cars come in different models. A Sentra is way cheaper than a GTR, and by the same token, PPG Chroma Base is way cheaper than, say, PPG Premier system. The systems determine the amount of work involved and will have a large determining factor on the price. You can't get any meaningful quote without knowing what they are intending on using in the first place

I'd like to stick with the original intent of my thread, which was if any Nor Cal Owners have done their diffuser work in the Bay Area. I know we have some folks up here with Amuse diffusers, and so visiting the same shops that they went to would circumnavigate the problem of shops seeing the diffuser for the first time.
Bump up for any of those owners.
Thanks, Dk
