Latest information ..
Hi, We just wanted to send an update regarding the convention. We are starting to make progress in several areas. First is registration. Registration has been open for a week. We encountered a slight glitch but that was quickly resolved and everything appears to be working properly.
Here are a couple of helpful hints:
1. When you start the registration process need to exit for some reason the system will save your information. If you exit the registration software and then come back at a later date, your profile is retained in the system. You do not need to create another profile, otherwise you will end up having multiple profiles in the system.
2. When you input the information for your attendance, name, address, car, events attending, etc, you will get to a page or screen that is a Summary Page. At the top of the page there is a warning, which basically warns you to ensure ALL of the information is correct BEFORE you hit the Confirmation button at the bottom of the page. Once you click on the confirmation button you can not go back. Make sure you have made the final decision on all events you plan to participate in before you click on Confirm. If you have any issues during the process please contact us as soon as possible so we can get it resolved. ·
We now have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) tab on the our web page where we will document questions we’ve received and the answers.·
We’ve been asked what other driving events (guided and self-guided tours) are we planning. Current plans include: Tortilla Flat (http://www.tortillaflataz.com/), the town of Sedona (http://www.visitsedona.com/), Tucson for either the Pima air Museum (http://www.pimaair.org/) or Titan missile silo (http://www.titanmissilemuseum.org/), or other sites in Tucson, South Mountain, and the Penske Racing Museum. Details about the drives will be available soon and posted on the web site.·
As you are aware our track event is planned for Firebird Raceway. Firebird has adjusted the track event schedule and we are pleased to announce that Firebird will hold the monthly Dragging and Drifting night on Friday September 21st, which coincides with our track day. This is not a ZCON 2012 event however we will pass on the information (cost and time) when it is finalized.·
Check other areas on the web site as we are adding more details when it become available. That’s it for now. Please send your questions to us through the web page, www.zcon.org.
Thanks.
