Day 1

Here is the first day pictures of the event. So far most of the pics are from the San Antonio, TX crew and Austin, TX/Waco,TX crew driving up. About 20-30 cars. Also here are a couple of videos I did of us cruising up. I have my laptop with me and will post pics every evening (time permitting) of the event. The last few pics are at Mad Mikes house party.

Day 3 pics of car show

Day 4 no go, forgot memory card for MSR.

 

Bad day to forget the memory card! How did the new setup work for you? I tried my hoosiers and FN01RC's for the first time and loved them. Took 2 laps to heat them up but after that it stuck like glue.

 

New setup was great. I think I could have turned the RSB tighter to help some, but didn't feel like messing with it. Next time I will try that. The tires/wheels definitely made a difference and after the 2nd lap they were sticking awesome. But after the 2nd session I was pushing the car too hard and started making the tires too slick and hot. So I started to have issues with my apex. I should have slowed down some and not pushed her so hard through some of the turns. But it was the time I was passing Rodel so I didn't want to let up on her.

The brakes still need some work. Surprisingly the HAWK pads faded on me. I need to figure out something soon with the brakes. I can't have them fail on me like they almost did on the 2nd session when I was working with Rodel. I almost went into his tail.

 

What hawks were you running? HPS? If so upgrade to the blues(if you can find them) or the HT10's.

 

That's the only pads they have available for my car. I have the 06 350z brakes on my G35. So there isn't much out yet.
