I know this is a bit early, but I wanted to get this out there ..

Activity: Join us for the 4th Annual Rally4Kids toy drive benefiting the Sacramento Shriner's Hospital for Children. Once again, we will be at Shriner's and are calling all auto and bike enthusiasts to join us and bring a new unwrapped gift for the kids at the Hospital.

I've worked this event with EuroSunday the past few years and to say the event is "heartwarming and fun" doesn't do it justice. Quite a few car groups show up for this. The groups caravan to the hospital and drop off their "gifts" while posing for a photo-op. I've seen long lines of vettes, ferraris, bmws, porsches, vw-vans ... but hardly any G's or Z's

This year, I want to get the word out and have more G's/Z's participate.

In the next couple of weeks, I hope to be able to get some details together and will share.

More information ..

While you can drop off a gift at anytime between 8AM-12N, many of the car groups are reserving a time-slot so they can arrive "caravan style". The 10AM and 1030AM time slots are already filled (yes, in 1/2 hour increments).

I'm thinking of grabbing the 9AM or 930AM timeslots for the G's/Z's group. Early is better - for a couple of reasons. 1) You probably won't be waiting in line to drop off the gift as long (behind other car groups that may be late/large); 2) If you decide to stay and visit (hospital tours and other activities are planned) - you'll probably find easier parking.

If you have a preference .. post up. Consider this an informal poll. A time slot will be decided later today.

9:30AM is the time slot reserved for those interested in joining the G/Z caravan to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.

As the date nears - information will be provided identifying a meeting point (and time) for the caravan.

Meet either location .. exit right onto Broadway, take immediate right onto Stockton Blvd .. short 5min drive to the hospital on the right ..
