Cars: weak
Line: ********, nothing but cutters. We ended up cutting after waiting in line since 10am at 2:30 and barely got in by 3pm. Totally ridiculous. Kids that showed up at like 2 were ahead of us.
Girls: dumpster fires

Had it not been for my friends that were there, this show would have been a total phail.

Wek fest get your sh*t together! And what was up with that pignose 240? that thing was stock garbage! Stop letting in people you know simply because you know them!

 

Those lines were an effin joke. We got there before 10 and didn't get in till like 3. Cutters were always messing with the gates.
I'm never waiting in a line for Wekfest again.

Well at least you didn't come across SF's finest. I heard a few had challenges upon leaving the event ...

 

Staging took a while as well. We had to roll up at 10 am. But by the time we finally got parked and settled it was already 12:30 ish. We were told that we had to have 1/4 or less of gas, if it wasn't for me turning off my car every so often i would have been stuck pushing my car.

On another note please be on the look out for my friends Del Sol. It was stolen yesterday night at Wekfest. Any information please let me know. It has our crew's banner on the front windshield that reads Rising Suns Motorsports. Car was parked in a residential area by the show.

 

Good gawd, sounds worse than the first hot import nights show in Long Beach. A guys modded TypeR (that was a show car) was stolen there too.

I hope people that went there enjoyed the City's other offerings like food and night life.

 

Damn that sucks felix his car was clean too,cant even go to a car show without someone messing with your car,reminds me of hot import nights in the 90s.the parking lot was a theives dream,dozens of modified cars and no security. Thats why i alwasys took moms mirage and not my car lol hope he finds it

I remember that, must suck having all that money, time and hard work invested on something and then gone with in a seconds.

lol yup, i remember those days. Yea i hope it turns out he is very bummed about it but apparently this was not the only stolen car at Wekfest!!

 

Yeah I really felt bad for the guy because he was just standing there with his trophy in shock. I was cleaning up a booth we had and trying to figure out how to get out of the show without LB's finest tailing me. memories!

 

The line was crazy long. I decided to dip out at around 2pm while still waiting in line. The location for the show was bad. Regular traffic on the streets were stupid crazy already. With all the cars that came for the show, the traffic got 50x worst. This will be my last WekFest show for a very long time.

The only good thing that resulted in this trip was that my girl and I had to try some bomb Thai food in downtown SF and the caravan from Elk Grove was pretty tite. Other than that, pretty much a fail event.

 

yep^^^^^^^^^. learned my lesson last year. this year my friends and i decided to stop by wekfail to check out the cars rolling in and what was out in the marina and then cruised up the coast to point reyes. ended up having a lot more than just a few friends head out with us after they got over standing in line lol i think we had about 35 cars total.

 

Our caravan was about 25 cars. We got some very nice rolling footage of our group. Can't wait to see it.

thats what I was thinking too since you said he parked in a residental area,they are **** about there parking up there lol
