I just bought a new Iphone 4S Verizon today. I had two sales people try to pair the phone to my factory bluetooth 07'Z, so here's my problem. When setting up to the bluetooth everything seems fine, but when you have someone try to call you the car bluetooth wont ring and the phone will only vibrate. We try using a different Iphone and it did the same thing.

It worked fine on my LG Voyager and it also worked fine when we tried it with a new HTC phone. Is there some issue with the Iphone that causes this? or is there a special trick to setting this phone up on the factory bluetooth?

Any help would be really appreciated!

 

It may be the firmware, try updating it if you have not done so already.

 

im on sprint pcs, and almost bought another droid due to bluetooth problems! id get a call, and it wouldnt answer, if i made a call iphone went directly to speaker, and if i tried to switch to iphone or bluetooth, it would mute and id have to hang up! it was enraging!!! finally, i found out the bluetooth needs to be 2.5 firmware or better. only occasionally do i have a problem now.

 

i think i know what the problem is..................its a iphone!

Never said it but I'm getting some. Guess I'll should update my bluetooth too even though I have no issues with mine?
Do I have to go to the dealer ship to update?
