[Bay Area]: Alignments
Any recommendation for alignments for lowered cars? AutoRnD quoted me 120 with a traction control calibration? Not sure if i need that... Vex couldn't get my car aligned for being too low. I live in South SJ so AutoRnD is somewhat of a drive, just seeing if there are any other options and great shops around. Thanks

Sounds like you are really low so I assume you have aftermarket camber & toe arms? If so, $120 for a legit shop to do it is the going rate. Don’t cheap out on your alignment, tires cost more IMO.
Both shops are good choices, I know both owners on a personal level and both will do a great job.

might be a late response but i recently got my alignment at auto innovations. quick and easy service. put me back around $130, which is a good price imo, as I was quoted from $100-$150 depending on what I wanted them to do besides the alignment (e.g. camber and toe adjustments).
well i called auto rnd to get another quote to make sure auto innovations was pricing me at the correct range, doesn't hurt to play it safe haha. anywho, autornd said it would be $80 for the alignment plus a possible $50 depending on if I wanted them to correct or set my camber, toe etc. just call around and see whats the lowest price you can get. I just went with auto innovations because of referrals by my friends and its proximity to me haha

When you are playing with camber, toe and such adjustments it does cost more. If you do corner balancing that adds to the cost. It all depends what you need done. If all the adjustments aren’t needed for a stock car, then most regular alignment shops like sears or firestone will work.

lol +1 for autornd and auto innovations.
what really matters is..
how low you are.. and how much aftermarket arms you have. the more arms the more expensive. Just remember. that tires are like 1k+ for a set.. i usually align my car once a year. i consider it basic maintenance.

I also definitely recommend Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley if you can afford to pay more, I'd trust Brandon Kraus more than anyone else for anything like this. I've also taken my previous cars to Motorsport Technique in Hayward, but I haven't been there in a while so I'm not too sure if Jack is still doing the alignments there or not.
